Ҳалок мешудед, агар фазлу раҳмате, ки Худо ба шумо додааст, намебуд. Ва агар Худо меҳрубону бахшоянда намебуд?

i am conveying my lord's messages to you and i am your sincere and honest adviser.
Паёмҳои Парвардигорамро ба шумо мерасонам ва шуморо пандгӯе боваринокам.

you lived in the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it was made clear to you how we had dealt with them and we gave you many examples.
Дар хонаҳои касоне, ки худ бар худ ситам мекарданд, ҷой гирифтед ва донистед бо онон чӣ гуна рафтор кардем ва бароятон мисолҳо овардем.

[you should not have] until it was evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars.
Мебоист онҳо, ки рост мегуфтанд, ошкор шаванд ва ту дурӯғгӯёнро ҳам бишносӣ.

and satan will say when the matter is decided: "it was allah who gave you a promise of truth: i too promised, but i failed in my promise to you.
Чун кор ба поён ояд, шайтон гӯяд: «Худо ба шумо ваъда дод ва ваъдаи Ӯ дуруст буд ва ман низ ба шумо ваъда додам, вале ваъдаи худ хилоф кардам.

i am conveying my lord's messages to you and giving you sincere advice. i know things from god that you do not.
Паёмҳои Парвардигорамро ба шумо мерасонам ва шуморо панд медиҳам ва аз Худо он медонам, ки шумо намедонед.

yet you dwelt in the dwellings of those who had exceeded themselves, and it was evident to you how we had dealt with them; and we held out examples before you."
Дар хонаҳои касоне, ки худ бар худ ситам мекарданд, ҷой гирифтед ва донистед бо онон чӣ гуна рафтор кардем ва бароятон мисолҳо овардем.

and we have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (it was revealed to the prophet saw in 23 years.).
Барои он аст, ки дили туро ба он устуворӣ диҳем ва онро ба оҳистагиву тартиб хонем.

allah has forgiven you! why did you give them leave (to stay behind) until it was clear to you which of them was truthful and knew those who lied?
Худоят афв кунад, Чаро ба онон рухсати мондан додӣ? Мебоист онҳо, ки рост мегуфтанд, ошкор шаванд ва ту дурӯғгӯёнро ҳам бишносӣ.

so shoaib turned away from them saying, “o my people! indeed i did deliver my lord’s message to you and gave you sound advice; so why should i grieve for the disbelievers?”
Пас аз онҳо руйгардон шуд ва гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, албатта паёмҳои Парвардигорамро ба шумо расонидам ва пандатон додам.

(o prophet), you never looked forward for the book to be revealed to you. it is out of sheer mercy of your lord that it was (revealed to you).
Агар раҳмати Парвардигорат набуд, умеди онро надоштӣ, ки ин китоб бар ту дода шавад.

"and you dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged themselves, and it was clear to you how we had dealt with them. and we put forth (many) parables for you."
Дар хонаҳои касоне, ки худ бар худ ситам мекарданд, ҷой гирифтед ва донистед бо онон чӣ гуна рафтор кардем ва бароятон мисолҳо овардем.

and it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers."
Ба ту ва паёмбарони пеш аз ту ваҳй шудааст, ки агар ширк биёваред, амалҳоятон ночиз гардад ва худ аз зиёнкунандагон хоҳед буд.

he left them, saying, "my people, i delivered my lord's messages to you and counselled you sincerely, but you do not like sincere advisors."
Солеҳ аз онон рӯй баргардонид ва гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, рисолати Парвардигорамро ба шумо расонидам ва шуморо панд додам, вале шумо некхоҳонро дӯст надоред!»

and it was indeed revealed to you and to those before you; that, “o listener! if you ascribe a partner to allah, all your deeds will go to waste and you will surely be a loser.”
Ба ту ва паёмбарони пеш аз ту ваҳй шудааст, ки агар ширк биёваред, амалҳоятон ночиз гардад ва худ аз зиёнкунандагон хоҳед буд.

(tell them clearly that) it was revealed to you and to all prophets before you: “if you associate any others with allah in his divinity, your works will surely come to naught and you will certainly be among the losers.”
Ба ту ва паёмбарони пеш аз ту ваҳй шудааст, ки агар ширк биёваред, амалҳоятон ночиз гардад ва худ аз зиёнкунандагон хоҳед буд.

(remember) how we sent to you (prophet muhammad) a company of jinn who, when they came and listened to the koran, said to each other: 'be silent' then, when it was finished, they returned to their nation and warned them.
