Оё Худо ба он чӣ дар дилҳои мардуми ҷаҳон мегузарад, огоҳтар нест?

indeed, we sent down to you the book for the people in truth.
Мо ин китобро ба ҳақ барои ҳидояти мардум бар ту нозил кардем.

god does not wrong the people in the least, but the people wrong their own selves.
Худованд ба мардум ҳеҷ ситам намекунад, вале мардум худ ба худ ситам мекунанд!

he makes plain his verses to the people, in order that they will remember.
Ва оёти худро ошкор баён мекунад, бошад, ки бияндешанд!

the worldly life is not more than a childish game.
Зиндагонии ин дунё лаҳву лаъаб (бозӣ) аст.

and this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement.
Зиндагонии ин дунё лаҳву лаъаб (бозӣ) аст.

moses exclaimed, "have you made a hole in the boat to drown the people in it?
Гуфт: «Киштиро сӯрох мекунӣ, то мардумашро ғарқ созӣ?

what they spend in this life is like the freezing wind that may strike and destroy the farms of the people who have wronged themselves.
Он чӣ инҳо дар ин ҷаҳон хайр мекунанд, ҳамонанди он аст, ки тундбоде сард бар киштзори қавме бар хеш ситам карда бивазад ва он киштаро нобуд созад.

(the people in the graves can hear the speech of those who are on earth.)
Чӣ гуна бар мардуме кофир андӯҳгин шавам?»

and indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their lord, are disbelievers.
Ва бисёре аз мардум ба дидори Парвардигорашон имон надоранд.

Мехоҳам замони онро пинҳон дорам, то ҳар кас дар муқобили коре, ки кардааст, ҷазо бубинад.

"he will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the righteous."
Бо мардум ҳамчунон, ки дар бузургӣ, дар гаҳвора сухан мегӯяд ва аз шоистагон аст».

and we have certainly presented to the people in this qur'an from every [kind of] example.
Мо дар ин Қуръон барои мардум ҳар гуна масал овардаем.

and my nation, do not let your breaking with me bring upon you something similar to that which struck the nation of noah, hood, and salih and it is not long since the people of lot (were punished).
Эй қавми ман, зиддият бо ман шуморо ба коре вонадорад то он чӣ бар қавми Нӯҳ ё қавми Ҳуд ё қавми Солеҳ ё дар ҳамин наздикӣ ба қавми Лут расид, ба шумо низ бирасад.

and it is not possible for the muslims that all of them go out; so it should be that a party from each group goes forth in order to gain knowledge in religion, and upon returning they warn their people in the hope that they may avoid.
Ва натавонанд мӯъминон, ки ҳамагӣ ба сафар раванд. Чаро аз ҳар гурӯҳе дастае ба сафар нараванд, то дониши дини хешро биёмузанд ва чун бозгаштанд, мардуми худро хушдор диҳанд, бошад, ки аз зишткорӣ ҳазар кунанд?

and the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the hereafter is best for those who fear allah, so will you not reason?
Ва зиндагии дунё чизе ҷуз бозичаву лаҳв нест ва парҳезгоронро сарои охират беҳтар аст. Оё ба ақл намеёбед?

and for their taking usury, that they were prohibited, and consuming the wealth of the people in vanity; and we have prepared for the unbelievers among them a painful chastisement.
Ва низ ба сабаби рибохорияшон ва ҳол он ки аз он манъ шуда буданд ва хӯрдани молҳои мардумро ба ботил. Ва мо барои кофиронашон азобе дардовар муҳайё кардаем.

and we have certainly presented for the people in this qur'an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember.
Мо дар ни Қуръон барои мардум ҳар гуна мисоле овардем, шояд панд гиранд.

paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the people of the scripture. whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides allah a protector or a helper.
На мувофиқи муроди шумост ва на музофиқи муроди аҳли китоб, ки ҳар кас, кн содиркунандаи кори баде шавад, ҷазояшро бубинад ва ғайри Худо барон худ дӯсту ёваре наёбад.

"he shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. and he shall be (of the company) of the righteous."
Бо мардум ҳамчунон, ки дар бузургӣ, дар гаҳвора сухан мегӯяд ва аз шоистагон аст».
