நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வானத்திலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ளவற்றை நன்கறிகிறான் என்பதை நீர் அறியவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக இவை(யெல்லாம்) ஒரு புத்தகத்தில் (பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு) இருக்கின்றன. நிச்சயமாக இது அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு மிகவும் சுலபமானது.

(thus do they imagine, although) we know well what the earth takes away from them. with us is a record that preserves everything.
(மரணத்திற்குப் பின்) அவர்களிலிருந்து (அவர்கள் உடலை) பூமி எந்த அளவு குறைத்திருக்கின்றதோ அதைத் திட்டமாக நாம் அறிந்திருக்கின்றோம்; நம்மிடம் (யாவும் பதிக்கப் பெற்று) பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட ஏடு இருக்கிறது.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வானத்திலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ளவற்றை நன்கறிகிறான் என்பதை நீர் அறியவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக இவை(யெல்லாம்) ஒரு புத்தகத்தில் (பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு) இருக்கின்றன. நிச்சயமாக இது அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு மிகவும் சுலபமானது.

and [for] every person we have imposed his fate upon his neck, and we will produce for him on the day of resurrection a record which he will encounter spread open.
ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனுடைய செயல் குறிப்பையும் அவனுடைய கழுத்தில் நாம் மாட்டி இருக்கிறோம்; கியாமத் நாளில் அவனுக்காக ஓர் ஏட்டை வெளிப்படுத்துவோம் - திறக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில் அதனை அவன் பெற்றுக் கொள்வான்.

இன்னும் (பட்டோலையாகிய) புத்தகம் (அவர்கள் முன்) வைக்கப்படும்; அதிலுள்ளதைக் கண்டு குற்றவாளிகள் மிக்க அச்சத்துடன் இருப்பதைக் காண்பீர்; மேலும் அவர்கள், "எங்கள் கேடே! இந்த ஏட்டிற்கு என்ன (நேர்ந்தது)? சிறியவையோ பெரியவையோ எதையும் வரையறுக்காது இது விட்டுவைக்கவ வில்லையே!" என்று கூறுவார்கள்; இன்னும், அவர்கள்செய்த யாவும் அவர்கள் முன் வைக்கப்படுவதைக் காண்பார்கள்; ஆனால் உம்முடைய இறைவன் ஒருவருக்கும் அநியாயம் செய்யமாட்டான்.
