உலகத்தார் யாவரையும் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காக (சத்தியத்தையும், அசத்தியத்தையும் தெளிவாகப்) பிரித்தறிவிக்கும் இவ்வேதத்தைத் தன் அடியார் மீது இறக்கியவன் மிக்க பாக்கியமுடையவன்.

"என் இறைவனுடைய அருள் இல்லாதிருந்தால், நானும் (நரகத்திற்குக்) கொண்டு வரப்பட்டவர்களில் ஒருவனாகியிருப்பேன்.

இன்னும், நாம் அவரையும் (அவருடைய சகோதரர் மகன்) லூத்தையும் அகிலத்தாருக்கெல்லாம் பரக்கத்தான - பாக்கியமுள்ள - பூமியாக நாம் ஆக்கியுள்ள (பைத்துல் முகத்தஸில்) ஈடேற்றம் பெறச் செய்தோம்.

இன்னும், நாம் அவரையும் (அவருடைய சகோதரர் மகன்) லூத்தையும் அகிலத்தாருக்கெல்லாம் பரக்கத்தான - பாக்கியமுள்ள - பூமியாக நாம் ஆக்கியுள்ள (பைத்துல் முகத்தஸில்) ஈடேற்றம் பெறச் செய்தோம்.

and that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives
இன்னும், மனிதனுக்கு அவன் முயல்வதல்லாமல் வேறில்லை.

help yourselves (in your affairs) with patience and prayer. it is a difficult task indeed, but not for the humble ones
மேலும் பொறுமையைக் கொண்டும், தொழுகையைக்கொண்டும் (அல்லாஹ்விடம்) உதவி தேடுங்கள்; எனினும், நிச்சயமாக இது உள்ளச்சம் உடையோர்க்கன்றி மற்றவர்களுக்குப் பெரும் பாரமாகவேயிருக்கும்.

and were it not for that all people be on one religion, we would have made for the disbelievers of the most gracious, roofs and stairs of silver which they would climb.
நிராகரிப்போருக்கு நாம் கொடுக்கும் செல்வத்தைக் கண்டு, மனிதர்கள் (நிராகரிக்கும்) சமுதாயமாக ஆகிவிடுவார்கள் என்பது இல்லாவிட்டால், அவர்களின் வீட்டு முகடுகளையும், (அவற்றுக்கு அவர்கள்) ஏறிச் செல்லும் படிகளையும் நாம் வெள்ளியினால் ஆக்கியிருப்போம்.
