but (the pharaoh) disavowed and disobeyed.
ஆனால், அவனோ அதைப் பொய்ப்பித்து, மாறு செய்தான்.

allah let them taste degradation in this present life, but the punishment of the everlasting life shall be greater if they but knew.
இவ்வாறு, இவ்வுலகில் அவர்களை இழிவை அனுபவிக்கும்படி அல்லாஹ் செய்தான்; (அவர்களுக்கு) மறுமையின் வேதனையோ மிகப்பெரிதாகும் - இதை அவர்கள் அறிந்து கொண்டிருப்பார்களாயின்

but the parties among them fell into variance; so woe unto those who did evil, because of the chastisement of a painful day.
ஆனால், அவர்களிடையே (ஏற்பட்ட பல) பிரிவினர் தமக்குள் மாறுபட்டனர்; ஆதலின், அநியாயம் செயதார்களே அவர்களுக்கு நோவினை தரும் நாளுடைய வேதனையின் கேடுதான் உண்டாகும்.
