"சாட்சியத்தில் மிகவும் பெரியது எது?" எனக் கேளும்; "அல்லாஹ்வே எனக்கும் உங்களுக்குமிடையே சாட்சியாக இருக்கின்றான்; இந்த குர்ஆன் எனக்கு வஹீயாக அருளப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதைக் கொண்டு உங்களையும், (இதை அடைந்தவர்களையும் நான் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காக நிச்சயமாக வணக்கத்திற்குரிய வேறு தெய்வங்களும் அல்லாஹ்வுடன் இருப்பதாக நீங்கள் சாட்சி கூறமுடியுமா? (என்று அவரிடம் கேட்பீராக) "இல்லை! நான் (அவ்வாறு) சாட்சி சொல்ல முடியாது என்றும் கூறுவீராக வணக்கத்திற்குரியவன் நிச்சயமாக அவன் ஒருவன் தான்; அவனுக்கு நீங்கள் இணைவைப்பதிலிருந்து நான் நிச்சயமாக விலகிக் கொண்டவனே" என்று கூறிவிடும்.
