and those who are doomed, will be in hell: for them will be sighing and sobbing,
தூபாப்பிய சாலிகள் (நரக) நெருப்பில் (எறியப்பட்டு) இருப்பார்கள். அதில் அவர்களுக்கு பெருங்கூச்சலும், முணக்கமும்(தான்) இருக்கும்.

(i swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. they have no faith.
இவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் மீது (இவர்களுக்கு வரவிருக்கும் வேதனை பற்றிய) வாக்கு நி; ச்சயமாக உண்மையாகிவிட்டது ஆகவே இவர்கள் ஈமான் கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள்.

"நம் பார்வையில் நம்(வஹீ) அறிவிப்புக்கு ஒப்ப கப்பலைக் கட்டும்; அநியாயம் செய்தவர்களைப் பற்றி(ப் பரிந்து இனி) நீர் என்னிடம் பேசாதீர்; நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (பிரளயத்தில்) மூழ்கடிக்கப்படுவார்கள்."

அன்றியும், இ(வ்வாறு கூறுகின்ற)வர் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது "பொய்யை இட்டுக் கட்டுகிறாரா அல்லது இவருக்கு பைத்தியமா?" (என்றும் கேட்கிறார்கள்.) அவ்வாறல்ல! மறுமையின் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாதவர்கள் வேதனையிலும் வெகு தூரமான வழி கேட்டிலுமே இருக்கிறார்கள்.

nay! you rather thought that the apostle and the believers would not return to their families ever, and that was made fairseeming to your hearts and you thought an evil thought and you were a people doomed to perish.
"(நீங்கள் கூறுவது போல்) அல்ல (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதரும், முஃமின்களும், தங்கள் குடம்பத்தாரிடம் ஒரு போதும் திரும்ப மாட்டார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; இதுவே உங்கள் இதயங்களில் அழகாக்கப்பட்டது; ஆதலால் நீங்கள் ஒரு கெட்ட எண்ணத்தை எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; அதனால் நீங்கள் நாசமடையும் சமூகத்தினர்களாகி விட்டீர்கள்."

அல்லாஹ்வின் சூழ்ச்சியிலிருந்து அவர்கள் அச்சம் தீர்ந்து விட்டார்களா? நஷ்ட வாளிகளான மக்களை தவிர, வேறு எவரும் அல்லாஹ்வின் சூழ்ச்சியிலிருந்து அச்சம் தீர்ந்து இருக்க மாட்டார்கள்.
