(அப்பகலை) மூடிக்கொள்ளும் இரவின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக-

and by the night and all that it enshroudeth,
மேலும், இரவின் மீதும், அது ஒன்று சேர்ப்பவற்றின் மீதும்,
