and whoever submits his face to allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. and to allah will be the outcome of [all] matters.

இதற்கு முன்னர் மூஸாவின் வேதம் ஒரு இமாமாகவும் (நேர்வழி காட்டியாகவும்) ரஹ்மத்தாகவும் இருந்தது (குர்ஆனாகிய) இவ்வேதம் (முந்தைய வேதங்களை) மெய்யாக்குகிற அரபி மொழியிலுள்ளதாகும்; இது அநியாயம் செய்வோரை அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவும், நன்மை செய்பவர்களுக்கு நன்மாராயமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

nay,-whoever submits his whole self to allah and is a doer of good,- he will get his reward with his lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
அப்படியல்ல! எவனொருவன் தன்னை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே (முழுமையாக) அர்ப்பணம் செய்து, இன்னும் நற்கருமங்களைச் செய்கிறானோ, அவனுடைய நற்கூலி அவனுடைய இறைவனிடம் உண்டு. இத்தகையோருக்கு அச்சமில்லை அவர்கள் துக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

and this is a blessed scripture which we have revealed, confirming that which (was revealed) before it, that thou mayst warn the mother of villages and those around her. those who believe in the hereafter believe herein, and they are careful of their worship.
இந்த வேதத்தை - அபிவிருத்தி நிறைந்ததாகவும், இதற்குமுன் வந்த (வேதங்களை) மெய்ப்படுத்துவதாகவும் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்துள்ளோம்; (இதைக்கொண்டு) நீர் (நகரங்களின் தாயாகிய) மக்காவில் உள்ளவர்களையும், அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களையும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவும், (நாம் இதனை அருளினோம்.) எவர்கள் மறுமையை நம்புகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் இதை நம்புவார்கள். இன்னும் அவர்கள் தொழுகையைப் பேணுவார்கள்.

this is a blessed book which we have revealed, confirming what came before it, so that you may warn the mother of cities [makkah] and the people around it. those who believe in the hereafter do believe in it, and they are ever-mindful of their prayers.
இந்த வேதத்தை - அபிவிருத்தி நிறைந்ததாகவும், இதற்குமுன் வந்த (வேதங்களை) மெய்ப்படுத்துவதாகவும் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்துள்ளோம்; (இதைக்கொண்டு) நீர் (நகரங்களின் தாயாகிய) மக்காவில் உள்ளவர்களையும், அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களையும் எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவும், (நாம் இதனை அருளினோம்.) எவர்கள் மறுமையை நம்புகிறார்களோ அவர்கள் இதை நம்புவார்கள். இன்னும் அவர்கள் தொழுகையைப் பேணுவார்கள்.

and this is a blessed book which we have sent down, confirming what came before it, in order that you warn the mother of the villages (mecca) and those who (live) around it. those who believe in the everlasting life believe in it and preserve their prayers.
