allah did curse him, but he said: "i will take of thy servants a portion marked off;
அல்லாஹ் அவனை (ஷைத்தானை) சபித்தான். "உன் அடியார்களில் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தொகையினரை நான் நிச்சயமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்வேன்" என்றும்,

and he said, 'surely i am sick.'
"நிச்சயமாக நாம் நோயாளியாக இருக்கிறேன்" என்றும் கூறினார்.

he said, “i am going towards my lord, and he will guide me.”
மேலும், அவர் கூறினார்; "நிச்சயமாக நான் என்னுடைய இறைவனிடம் செல்பவன்; திட்டமாக அவன் எனக்கு நேர் வழியைக் காண்பிப்பான்."

he said, ‘o my people! indeed, i am a manifest warner to you.
"என் சமூகத்தார்களே! நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களுக்கு பகிரங்கமாக அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவன்" என்று கூறினார்.

he said, “i am disgusted with your works.”
"என் இறைவனே! என்னையும், என் குடும்பத்தாரையும் இவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருக்கிற (தீய)வற்றிலிருந்து காப்பாயாக!" (எனப் பிரார்த்தித்தார்.)

he said, "i am better than him. you created me from fire and created him from clay."
"நானே அவரைவிட மேலானவன்; (ஏனெனில்) என்னை நீ நெருப்பிலிருந்து படைத்தாய்; ஆனால் அவரையோ நீ களிமண்ணிலிருந்து படைத்தாய்" என்று (இப்லீஸ்) கூறினான்.

and he said, "i am indeed sick (at heart)!"
"நிச்சயமாக நாம் நோயாளியாக இருக்கிறேன்" என்றும் கூறினார்.
