இன்னும் நீங்கள் தொழுகைக்கு அழைத்தால், - அதனை அவர்கள் பரிகாசமாகவும், விளையாட்டாகவும் எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்;. இதற்கு காரணம் அவர்கள் அறிவில்லாத மக்களாக இருப்பதேயாம்.

இன்னும் அவர்கள் தம் குடும்பத்தார்பால் திரும்பிச் சென்றாலும், (தாங்கள் செய்தது பற்றி) மகிழ்வுடனேயே திரும்பிச் செல்வார்கள்.

and when you call for prayer, they take it for a mockery and sport. that is because they are a people who do not understand.
இன்னும் நீங்கள் தொழுகைக்கு அழைத்தால், - அதனை அவர்கள் பரிகாசமாகவும், விளையாட்டாகவும் எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்;. இதற்கு காரணம் அவர்கள் அறிவில்லாத மக்களாக இருப்பதேயாம்.

if an idolater seeks protection, then give him asylum that he may hear the word of god. then escort him to a place of safety, for they are people who do not know.
(நபியே!) முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் யாரேனும் உம்மிடம் புகலிடம் தேடி வந்தால், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களை அவர் செவியேற்கும் வரையில் அவருக்கு அபயமளிப்பீராக அதன் பின் அவரை அவருக்குப் பாதுகாப்புக் கிடைக்கும் வேறு இடத்திற்கு (பத்திரமாக) அனுப்புவீராக - ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக அறியாத சமூகத்தினராக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

and if one of the idolaters seek protection from you, grant him protection till he hears the word of allah, then make him attain his place of safety; this is because they are a people who do not know.
(நபியே!) முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் யாரேனும் உம்மிடம் புகலிடம் தேடி வந்தால், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களை அவர் செவியேற்கும் வரையில் அவருக்கு அபயமளிப்பீராக அதன் பின் அவரை அவருக்குப் பாதுகாப்புக் கிடைக்கும் வேறு இடத்திற்கு (பத்திரமாக) அனுப்புவீராக - ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக அறியாத சமூகத்தினராக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

then the blast overtook them with justice, and we made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of time)! so away with the people who do wrong!
அப்பால், (இடி முழக்கம் போன்ற) ஒரு சப்தம் நியாயமான முறையில் அவர்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டது நாம் அவர்களை கூளங்களாக ஆக்கிவிட்டோம்; எனவே அநியாயக்கார சமூகத்தார் (இறை ரஹ்மத்திலிருந்தும்) தொலைவிலோ ஆகிவிட்டார்கள்.

and (the prophet) will say: "o lord, these are certainly a people who do not believe."
"என் இறைவா! நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளா சமூகத்தாராக இருக்கிறார்கள்" என்று (நபி) கூறுவதையும் (இறைவன் அறிகிறான்).

and [allah acknowledges] his saying, "o my lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe."
"என் இறைவா! நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளா சமூகத்தாராக இருக்கிறார்கள்" என்று (நபி) கூறுவதையும் (இறைவன் அறிகிறான்).

those are the ones to whom we gave the book, and judgement and prophethood. and if they refuse to believe in it now, we will bestow this favour on a people who do believe in it.
இவர்களுக்குத்தான் நாம் வேதத்தையும், அதிகாரத்தையும், நபித்துவத்தையும் கொடுத்தோம்; ஆகவே இவற்றை இவர்கள் நிராகரித்தால் இதனை நிராகரிக்காத ஒரு சமுதாயத்தினரை இதற்கு நாம் நிச்சயமாக பொறுப்பாக்குவோம்.

(நபியே!) முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் யாரேனும் உம்மிடம் புகலிடம் தேடி வந்தால், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களை அவர் செவியேற்கும் வரையில் அவருக்கு அபயமளிப்பீராக அதன் பின் அவரை அவருக்குப் பாதுகாப்புக் கிடைக்கும் வேறு இடத்திற்கு (பத்திரமாக) அனுப்புவீராக - ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக அறியாத சமூகத்தினராக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

when he comes to know something of our messages he makes fun of them: for them is shameful punishment.
நம் வசனங்களிலிருந்து ஏதாவது ஒன்றை அவன் அறிந்து கொண்டால், அதைப் பரிகாசமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறான்; அ(த்தகைய)வர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனை உண்டு.

say: o followers of the book! be not unduly immoderate in your religion, and do not follow the low desires of people who went astray before and led many astray and went astray from the right path.
"வேதமுடையவர்களே! நீங்கள் உங்கள் மார்க்கத்தில் உண்மையில்லாததை கூறி வரம்பு மீறாதீர்கள். (உங்களுக்கு) முன்பு வழிதவறிச் சென்ற கூட்டத்தாரின் மனோ இச்சைகளை நீ; ங்கள் பின்பற்றாதீர்கள்;. அநேகரை அவர்கள் வழி தவறச் செய்ததுடன், தாங்களும் நேர் வழியை விட்டு விலகி விட்டனர்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

o prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand.
நபியே! நீர் முஃமின்களை போருக்கு ஆர்வ மூட்டுவீராக உங்களில் பொறுமையுடையவர்கள் இருபது பேர் இருந்தால், இருநூறு பேர்களை வெற்றி கொள்வார்கள். இன்னும் உங்களில் நூறு பேர் இருந்தால் அவர்கள் காஃபிர்களில் ஆயிரம் பேரை வெற்றி கொள்வார்கள்; ஏனெனில் (முஃமின்களை எதிர்ப்போர்) நிச்சயமாக அறிவில்லாத மக்களாக இருப்பது தான் (காரணம்).

(joseph) said, "to prove that my interpretation of your dream is true, i can tell you what kind of food you will receive even before it comes to you. my lord has given me such talents. i have given up the tradition of the people who do not believe in god and the day of judgment
அதற்கு அவர் கூறினார்; "உங்களிருவருக்கும் அளிக்கக்கூடிய உணவு உங்களிடம் வ(ந்து சே)ருவதற்கு முன்னரும் - (இக்கனவுகளின்) பலனை நீங்களிருவரும் அடைவதற்கு முன்னரும் - இவற்றின் விளக்கத்தை உங்களிலிருவருக்கும் கூறிவிடுகிறேன். இது என் இறைவன் எனக்குக் கற்றுக் கொடுத்தவற்றிலிருந்தும் உள்ளவை அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாதவர்களும், மறுமையை நிராகரிப்பவர்களுமான சமூகத்தாரின் மார்க்கத்தை நான் நிச்சயமாக விட்டு விட்டேன்.
