இன்னும் (ஃபிர்அவ்னிடம்; "பாவங்களை விட்டும்) பரிசத்தமாக வேண்டும் என்ற (விருப்பம்) உன்னிடம் இருக்கிறதா?" என்று கேளும்.

nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)!
(பிறருக்குக் கொடுப்பதையும் விட அவர்களிடமிருந்து) அதிமாகப் பொறும் (நோக்கோடு) உபகாரம் செய்யாதீர்.

and remember the name of thy lord, and devote thyself unto him very devoutly.
எனினும் (இரவிலும், பகலிலும்) உம்முடைய இறைவனின் பெயரை தியானிப்பீராக! இன்னும் அவனளவிலேயே முற்றிலும் திரும்பியவராக இருப்பீராக.

so remember the name of thy lord and devote thyself with a complete devotion -
எனினும் (இரவிலும், பகலிலும்) உம்முடைய இறைவனின் பெயரை தியானிப்பீராக! இன்னும் அவனளவிலேயே முற்றிலும் திரும்பியவராக இருப்பீராக.

and remember thou the name of thy lord, and devote thyself to him with an exclusive devotion.
எனினும் (இரவிலும், பகலிலும்) உம்முடைய இறைவனின் பெயரை தியானிப்பீராக! இன்னும் அவனளவிலேயே முற்றிலும் திரும்பியவராக இருப்பீராக.

nay, obey not thou him. but prostrate thyself, and draw near (unto allah).
(அவன் கூறுவது போலல்ல) அவனுக்கு நீர் வழிபடாதீர்; (உம் இறைவனுக்கு) ஸுஜூது செய்து (வணங்கி அவனை) நெருங்குவீராக.

and part of the night, prostrate thyself to him; and glorify him a long night through.
இன்னும் இரவிலும் அவனுக்கு ஸுஜூது செய்வீராக, அன்றியும் இரவில் நெடுநேரம் அவனுக்கு தஸ்பீஹு(துதி) செய்வீராக.

and surely i fear my cousins after me, and my wife is barren, therefore grant me from thyself an heir,
"இன்னும், எனக்குப் பின்னர் (என்) உறவினர்களைப்பற்றி நிச்சயமாக நான் அஞ்சகிறேன்; மேலும், என் மனைவியோ மலடாக இருக்கிறாள்; ஆகவே, நீ உன் புறத்திலிருந்து எனக்கு ஒரு வாரிசை அளிப்பாயாக!

nay, heed him not: but bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to allah)!
(அவன் கூறுவது போலல்ல) அவனுக்கு நீர் வழிபடாதீர்; (உம் இறைவனுக்கு) ஸுஜூது செய்து (வணங்கி அவனை) நெருங்குவீராக.

and thy lord inspired the bee saying: take thou for thyself of the mountains houses and of the trees and of that which they erect.
உம் இறைவன் தேனீக்கு அதன் உள்ளுணர்வை அளித்தான். "நீ மலைகளிலும், மரங்களிலும், உயர்ந்த கட்டடங்களிலும் கூடுகளை அமைத்துக்கொள் (என்றும்),

"and shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: it will let fall fresh ripe dates upon thee.
"இன்னும், இந்த பேரீச்ச மரத்தின் கிளையைப் பிடித்து உம் அருகில் இழுத்துக் குலுக்கும்; (கொய்வதற்குப்) பக்குவமான பழங்களை உம் மீது அது உதிர்க்கும்.

"come back thou to thy lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto him!
நீ உன்னுடைய இறைவன்பால் திருப்தி அடைந்த நிலையிலும், (அவன்) உன்மீது திருப்தியடைந்த நிலையிலும் மீளுவாயாக.

and do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots.
(நபியே!) இன்னும் நீர் பொறுமையுடன் இருப்பீராக எனினும் அல்லாஹ்வின் உதவியில்லாமல் நீர் பொறுமையுடனே இருக்க முடியாது அவர்களுக்காக நீர் (எது பற்றியும்) கவலைப்பட வேண்டாம் - அவர்கள் செய்யும் சூழ்ச்சிகளை பற்றி நீர் (மன) நெருக்கடியில் ஆகிவிடவேண்டாம்.
