அவனிடமே மறைவானவற்றின் திறவுகோல்கள் இருக்கின்றன. அவற்றை அவனன்றி எவரும் அறியார். மேலும் கரையிலும் கடலிலும் உள்ளவற்றையெல்லாம் அவன் அறிவான்; அவன் அறியாமல் ஓர் இலையும் உதிர்வதில்லை. பூமியின் (ஆழத்தில் அடர்ந்த) இருள்களில் கிடக்கும் சிறு வித்தும், பசுமையானதும், உலர்ந்ததும் (எந்தப் பொருளும்) தெளிவான (அவனுடைய) பதிவேட்டில் இல்லாமலில்லை.

only god has the knowledge of the hour. he sends rain from the heavens, and knows what is in the mothers' wombs. no one knows what he will do on the morrow; no one knows in what land he will die. surely god knows and is cognisant.
நிச்சயமாக அந்த (கியாம) நேரம் பற்றிய ஞானம் அல்லாஹ்விடமே இருக்கிறது அவனே மழையையும் இறக்குகிறான்; இன்னும் அவன் கர்ப்பங்களில் உள்ளவற்றையும் அறிகிறான். நாளை தினம் தாம் (செய்வது) சம்பாதிப்பது எது என்பதை எவரும் அறிவதில்லை தான் எந்த பூமியில் இறப்போம் என்பதையும் எவரும் அறிவதில்லை. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்தான் நன்கறிபவன்; நுட்பம் மிக்கவன்.

has there not come to you the account of those who were before you—the people of noah, ‘ad and thamud, and those who were after them, whom no one knows [well] except allah? their apostles brought them manifest proofs, but they did not respond to them, and said, ‘we disbelieve in what you have been sent with. indeed we have grave doubts concerning that to which you invite us.’
உங்களுக்கு முன் சென்று போன நூஹ், ஆது, ஸமூது போன்ற சமூகத்தாரின் செய்தியும், அவர்களுக்குப் பின் வந்தவர்களுடைய செய்தியும் உங்களுக்கு வரவில்லையா? அவர்களை அல்லாஹ்வைத் தவிர (வேறு) எவரும் அறியார்; அவர்களிடத்தில் (அல்லாஹ் அனுப்பிய) அவர்களுடைய (இறை) தூதர்கள் தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளைக் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்; தங்கள் கைகளை தங்கள் வாய்களின் பக்கம் கொண்டு சென்று, "நீங்கள் எதைக் கொண்டு அனுப்பப்பட்டிருக்கின்றீர்களோ அ(த் தூ)தை நிச்சமயாக நாங்கள் நிராகரிக்கின்றோம் அன்றிpயும், நீங்கள் எங்களை எதன்பால் அழைக்கிறீர்களோ, அதைப் பற்றியும் நாங்கள் பெரும் சந்தேகத்தில் இருக்கிறோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
