(muhammad), follow what has been revealed to you from your lord; there is no god but he, and stay away from pagans.
(நபியே!) உம்முடைய இறைவனிடமிருந்து உமக்கு வஹீ மூலம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டதையே நீர் பின்பற்றுவீராக - அவனைத் தவிர (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) இறைவன் வேறில்லை, இணை வைப்போரை நீர் புறக்கணித்துவிடும்.

(pagans) has your lord given you preference over himself by granting you sons and taking the angels as his own daughters? what you say is a monstrous utterance.
(முஷ்ரிக்குகளே!) உங்கள் இறைவன் உங்களுக்கு ஆண் மக்களை அளித்து விட்டு (தனக்கு மட்டும்) மலக்குகளிலிருந்து பெண் மக்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டானா? நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் மிகப்பெரும் (பொய்க்) கூற்றையே கூறுகிறீர்கள்.

(muhammad), tell them, "travel through the land to see how terrible was the end of those who lived before. many of them were pagans.
"பூமியில் நீங்கள் சுற்றித் திரிந்து (உங்களுக்கு) முன்னிருந்தவர்களின் முடிவு என்ன ஆயிற்று என்பதை நீங்கள் கவனித்துப் பாருங்கள்? அவர்கள் பெரும்பாலோர் முஷ்ரிக்குகளாக (இணை வைப்பவர்களாக) இருந்தனர்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.

say: "allah speaketh the truth: follow the religion of abraham, the sane in faith; he was not of the pagans."
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; "அல்லாஹ் (இவை பற்றி) உண்மையையே கூறுகிறான்; ஆகவே (முஃமின்களே!) நேர்வழி சென்ற இப்ராஹீமின் மார்க்கத்தையே பின்பற்றுங்கள்;. அவர் முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் ஒருவராக இருக்கவில்லை."
