ஷைத்தான் அவர்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கிறான்;. அவர்களுக்கு வீணான எண்ணங்களையும் உண்டாக்குகிறான்;. மேலும் அந்த ஷைத்தான் ஏமாற்றுவதைத் தவிர வேறு (எதனையும்) அவர்களுக்கு வாக்களிக்கவில்லை.

"இன்னும் அவர்களிலிருந்து நீ எவரை (வழி சறுகச் செய்ய) சக்தி பெற்றிருக்கிறாயோ அவர்களை உன் கூப்பாட்டைக் கொண்டு வழி சறுகச் செய்; உன்னுடைய குதிரைப் படையையும் காலாட்படையையும் கொண்டு அவர்களுக்கு எதிராக முழக்கமிடச் செய், அவர்களுடைய செல்வங்களிலும், குழந்தைகளிலும் நீ கூட்டாக இருந்து கொள்; அவர்களுக்கு(ப் பொய்யான) வாக்குறுதிகளையும் கொடு!" (என்றும் அல்லாஹ் கூறினான்) ஆகவே, ஷைத்தான் அவர்களுக்கு வாக்களிப்பதெல்லாம் வெறும் ஏமாற்றேயன்றி வேறில்லை.

and if they break their promises after making a treaty and malign your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief – indeed their promises are nothing – in the hope that they may desist.
