பலமே உயிர் பலவீனமே மரணம்

he who earns the wages of sin does so for himself; and god is aware of everything and is wise.
எவன் பாவத்தைச் சம்பாதிக்காறானோ அவன் தனக்குக் கேடாகவே அதை நிச்சயமாக சம்பாதிக்கிறான். அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) அறிந்தவனாகவும் ஞானமுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

and have patience, for allah does not waste the wages of the righteous.
(நபியே! எந்நிலையிலும்) பொறுமையைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பீராக! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அழகிய செயல்கள் செய்வோரின் கூலியை வீணாக்கி விடமாட்டான்.

be steadfast; for surely, god does not let the wages of the righteous be wasted.
(நபியே! எந்நிலையிலும்) பொறுமையைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பீராக! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அழகிய செயல்கள் செய்வோரின் கூலியை வீணாக்கி விடமாட்டான்.

thus do we deal with men of sin.
குற்றவாளிகளை இவ்வாறுதான் நாம் செய்வோம் (தண்டிப்போம்).

there sin is like a jail cell accepted
நீங்கள் என்ன சொன்னீர்கள்

shall we then treat the people of faith like the people of sin?
நாம் முஸ்லிம்களை, (பாவம் செய்யும்) குற்றவாளிகளைப் போல் ஆக்குவோமா?

and have patience, (o muhammad), for lo! allah loseth not the wages of the good.
(நபியே! எந்நிலையிலும்) பொறுமையைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பீராக! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அழகிய செயல்கள் செய்வோரின் கூலியை வீணாக்கி விடமாட்டான்.

your sin is not greater than god's mercy
आपका पाप भगवान की दया से बड़ा नहीं है

that god may acquit them of the worst of what they did, and recompense them with the wages of the fairest of what they were doing.
அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றில் மிகத் தீயவற்றையும் அவர்களை விட்டும் அல்லாஹ் விலக்கி, அவர்களுடைய (நற்காரியங்களுக்குரிய) கூலியை அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததை விட மிக்க அழகியதைக் கொண்டு அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பான்.

and those who hold fast to the book, and have kept the prayer established; and we do not waste the wages of the righteous.
எவர்கள் வேதத்தை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிப்பிடித்துக் கொண்டு, தொழுகையையும் நிலைநிறுத்துகிறார்களோ (அத்தகைய) நல்லோர்களின் கூலியை நாம் நிச்சயமாக வீணாக்க மாட்டோம்.

as for those who adhere to the book and are firm in devotion, we shall certainly not let the wages of those who are upright to go waste.
எவர்கள் வேதத்தை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிப்பிடித்துக் கொண்டு, தொழுகையையும் நிலைநிறுத்துகிறார்களோ (அத்தகைய) நல்லோர்களின் கூலியை நாம் நிச்சயமாக வீணாக்க மாட்டோம்.

forsake the outward sin, and the inward surely the earners of sin shall be recompensed for what they have earned.
(முஃமின்களே!) "வெளிப்படையான பாவத்தையும், அந்தரங்கமான பாவத்தையும் விட்டுவிடுங்கள். நிச்சயமாக எவர்கள் பாவத்தைச் சம்பாதிக்கின்றனரோ, அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்தவற்றுக்குக் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

and as for those who make (men) keep the scripture, and establish worship - lo! we squander not the wages of reformers.
எவர்கள் வேதத்தை உறுதியாகப் பற்றிப்பிடித்துக் கொண்டு, தொழுகையையும் நிலைநிறுத்துகிறார்களோ (அத்தகைய) நல்லோர்களின் கூலியை நாம் நிச்சயமாக வீணாக்க மாட்டோம்.

and those who shun the worst of sins and indecencies and, when they are wroth, forgive,
அவர்கள் (எத்தகையொரென்றால்) பெரும் பாவங்களையும், மானக்கேடானவற்றையும், தவிர்த்துக் கொண்டு, தாம் கோபம் அடையும் பொழுதும் மன்னிப்பார்கள்.

joyful in blessing and bounty from god, and that god leaves not to waste the wage of the believers.
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து தாங்கள் பெற்ற நிஃமத்துகள் (நற்பேறுகள்) பற்றியும், மேன்மையைப் பற்றியும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் முஃமின்களுக்குரிய நற்கூலியை (ஒரு சிறிதும்) வீணாக்கி விடுவதில்லை. என்பதைப் பற்றியும் மகிழ்வடைந்தோராய் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.
