மேலும் அவர்கள் (முஃமின்களைப்) பார்த்தால், "நிச்சமயாக இவர்களே வழி தவறியவர்கள்" என்றும் கூறுவார்கள்.

நாம் அவர்களிடம் தூதர்கள் இருவரை அனுப்பியபோது, அவ்விருவரையும் அவர்கள் பொய்யாக்கினார்கள்; ஆகவே (அவர்களை) மூன்றாவது தூதரைக் கொண்டு வலுப்படுத்தினோம்; ஆகவே, "நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உங்களிடம் அனுப்பப்பட்ட தூதர்கள் ஆவோம்" என்று அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.

and (as for) those who put away their wives by likening their backs to the backs of their mothers then would recall what they said, they should free a captive before they touch each other; to that you are admonished (to conform); and allah is aware of what you do.
மேலும் எவர் தம் மனைவியரைத் தாய்களெனக் கூறிய பின் (வருந்தித்) தாம் கூறியதை விட்டும் திரும்பி (மீண்டும் தாம்பத்திய வாழ்வை நாடி)னால், அவ்விருவரும் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் தீண்டுவதற்கு முன்னர் ஓர் அடிமையை விடுவிக்க வேண்டும். அதனைக் கொண்டே நீங்கள் உபதேசிக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள் - மேலும், அல்லாஹ், நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கறிபவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.
