ஆகவே, (பூரணமாக நாம்) அறிந்திருக்கிறபடி (அது சமயம்) அவர்களிடம் சொல்லிக் காண்பிப்போம்; (அவர்கள் செய்ததை விட்டும்) நிச்சயமாக நாம் மறைவாக இருக்கவில்லை.

(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்னர் நாம் அனுப்பிய ஒவ்வொரு தூதரிடமும்; "நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) நாயன் என்னைத் தவிர வேறு எவருமில்லை எனவே, என்னையே நீங்கள் வணங்குங்கள்" என்று நாம் வஹீ அறிவிக்காமலில்லை.

(நபியே!) நாம் உம்மை அகிலத்தாருக்கு எல்லாம் ரஹ்மத்தாக - ஓர் அருட் கொடையாகவேயன்றி அனுப்பவில்லை.

and had allah willed, they had not associated. and we have not made thee a guardian over them nor art thou unto them a trustee.
அல்லாஹ் நாடியிருந்தால் அவர்கள் இணை வைத்திருக்கவே மாட்டார்கள்; நாம் உம்மை அவர்கள் மீது காப்பாளராக ஏற்படுத்தவில்லை - இன்னும் நீர் அவர்கள் (காரியங்களை நிர்வகிக்கும்) பொறுப்பாளரும் அல்லர்.

and apostles we have recounted to you earlier and apostles we have not recounted to you—and to moses allah spoke directly—
(இவர்களைப் போன்றே வேறு) தூதர்கள் சிலரையும் (நாம் அனுப்பி) அவர்களுடைய சரித்திரங்களையும் உமக்கு நாம் முன்னர் கூறியுள்ளோம்;. இன்னும் (வேறு) தூதர்கள் (பலரையும் நாம் அனுப்பினோம்;. ஆனால்) அவர்களின் சரித்திரங்களை உமக்குக் கூறவில்லை. இன்னும் மூஸாவுடன் அல்லாஹ் பேசியும் இருக்கின்றான்.

and messengers we have already told thee of before, and messengers we have not told thee of; and unto moses god spoke directly --
(இவர்களைப் போன்றே வேறு) தூதர்கள் சிலரையும் (நாம் அனுப்பி) அவர்களுடைய சரித்திரங்களையும் உமக்கு நாம் முன்னர் கூறியுள்ளோம்;. இன்னும் (வேறு) தூதர்கள் (பலரையும் நாம் அனுப்பினோம்;. ஆனால்) அவர்களின் சரித்திரங்களை உமக்குக் கூறவில்லை. இன்னும் மூஸாவுடன் அல்லாஹ் பேசியும் இருக்கின்றான்.

he who obeys the apostle obeys god; and if some turn away (remember) we have not sent you as warden over them.
எவர் (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதருக்குக் கீழ்படிகிறாரோ, அவர் அல்லாஹ்வுக்குக் கீழ்படிகிறார்;. யாராவது ஒருவர் (இவ்வாறு கீழ்படிவதை) நிராகரித்தால் (நீர் வருந்த வேண்டியதில்லை, ஏனெனில்) நாம் உம்மை அவர்களின் மேல் கண்காணிப்பவராக அனுப்பவில்லை.

"ஜகரிய்யாவே! யஹ்யா என்ற பெயர் கொண்ட ஒரு புதல்வனை(த் தருவது) பற்றி நிச்சயமாக நாம் உமக்கு நற்செய்தி கூறுகிறோம். இதற்கு முன்னர் இப்பெயர் கொண்டவரை நாம் ஆக்கவில்லை" (என்று இறைவன் கூறினான்).
