and certainly we created man, and we know what his mind suggests to him, and we are nearer to him than his life-vein.

and indeed, we are able to show you what we have promised them.

and indeed we have created man and we know what his soul instils in him; and we are nearer to him than the hearts artery.

and most surely we are well able to make you see what we threaten them with.

"o our lord! certainly, you know what we conceal and what we reveal. nothing on the earth or in the heaven is hidden from allah.

they said, “you know that we have no right to the daughters of your tribe; and you obviously know what we desire.”

"எங்கள் இறைவனே! நாங்கள் மறைத்து வைத்திருப்பதையும், நாங்கள் பகிரங்கப்படுத்துவதையும் நிச்சயமாக நீ அறிகிறாய்! இன்னும் பூமியிலோ, மேலும் வானத்திலோ உள்ள எந்தப் பொருளும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு மறைந்ததாக இல்லை."

and when we suspended the mountain over them, as if it was an umbrella, and they thought it would fall on them: “hold fast to what we have given you, and remember what it contains, so that you may be saved.”
நாம் (ஸினாய்) மலையை அவர்களுக்கு மேல் முகட்டைப்போல் உயர்த்தினோம்; அப்போது அவர்கள் அது தங்கள் மீது விழுந்து விடுமோ என்று எண்ணியபோது, நாம் அவர்களை நோக்கி, "நாம் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த (வேதத்)தைப் பலமாகப் பிடித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; அதிலுள்ளவற்றைச் சிந்தியுங்கள்; நீங்கள் பயபக்தியுடையோர் ஆகலாம்" (என்று கூறினோம்).

do not extend your glance toward what we have provided certain groups of them as a glitter of the life of this world, so that we may test them thereby. the provision of your lord is better and more lasting.
இன்னும், அவர்களில் சில பிரிவினர் இன்பமனுபவிக்க நாம் கொடுத்திருக்கும் (வாழ்க்கை வசதிகளின்) பக்கம் உமது கண்களை நீட்டாதீர்; (இவையெல்லாம்) அவர்களைச் சோதிப்பதற்காகவே நாம் கொடுத்துள்ள உலக வாழ்க்கையின் அலங்காரங்களாகும். உமது இறைவன் (மறுமையில் உமக்கு) வழங்கவிருப்பது சிறந்ததும் நிலையானதும் ஆகும்.

for us, you can anticipate nothing other than paradise if we are killed or success if we triumph. however, what we can anticipate for you is either punishment by the hands of god or by ours. wait and we, too, are waiting with you.
