(முஃமின்களே!) முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் (இணைவைத்து வணங்குபவர்களில்) எவர்களுடன் நீங்கள் உடன்படிக்கை செய்துள்ளீர்களோ, அவர்களிடமிருந்து அல்லாஹ்வும், அவனுடைய தூதரும் விலகிக் கொண்டனர்.

a declaration of immunity from god and his messenger to the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty.
(முஃமின்களே!) முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் (இணைவைத்து வணங்குபவர்களில்) எவர்களுடன் நீங்கள் உடன்படிக்கை செய்துள்ளீர்களோ, அவர்களிடமிருந்து அல்லாஹ்வும், அவனுடைய தூதரும் விலகிக் கொண்டனர்.

as for those with whom you have made a treaty and who abrogate it every time, and do not fear god,
(நபியே!) இவர்களில் நீர் எவருடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்து கொண்டாலும், ஒவ்வொரு தடவையும் அவர்கள் தம் உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்தே வருகின்றனர்; அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) அஞ்சுவதேயில்லை.

the ones with whom you made a treaty but then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear allah.
(நபியே!) இவர்களில் நீர் எவருடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்து கொண்டாலும், ஒவ்வொரு தடவையும் அவர்கள் தம் உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்தே வருகின்றனர்; அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) அஞ்சுவதேயில்லை.

they are those with whom you made a covenant, but they break their covenant every time and they do not fear allah.
(நபியே!) இவர்களில் நீர் எவருடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்து கொண்டாலும், ஒவ்வொரு தடவையும் அவர்கள் தம் உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்தே வருகின்றனர்; அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) அஞ்சுவதேயில்லை.

it may well be that god will create goodwill between you and those of them with whom you are now at enmity -- for god is all powerful, most forgiving and merciful.
உங்களுக்கும், அவர்களில் நின்றும் நீங்கள் விரோதித்திருக்கின்றீர்களே அவர்களுக்குமிடையே அல்லாஹ் பிரியத்தை உண்டாக்கி விடக்கூடும், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் பேராற்றலுடையவன்; அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் மன்னிப்வன்; மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

(this is a declaration of) immunity by allah and his apostle towards those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement.
(முஃமின்களே!) முஷ்ரிக்குகளில் (இணைவைத்து வணங்குபவர்களில்) எவர்களுடன் நீங்கள் உடன்படிக்கை செய்துள்ளீர்களோ, அவர்களிடமிருந்து அல்லாஹ்வும், அவனுடைய தூதரும் விலகிக் கொண்டனர்.

and blessed is he to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the hour and to whom you will be returned.
அவன் பெரும் பாக்கியம் உடையவன்; வானங்கள், பூமி, இவை இரண்டிற்குமிடையே உள்ளவை ஆகியவற்றின் ஆடசி அவனுக்குடையதே, அவனிடம் தான் (இறுதி) வேளைக்குரிய ஞானமும் இருக்கிறது மேலும், அவனிடமே நீங்கள் மீட்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

it may be that allah establishes love between you and those with whom you are at enmity. allah is the powerful, allah is the forgiving and the most merciful.
உங்களுக்கும், அவர்களில் நின்றும் நீங்கள் விரோதித்திருக்கின்றீர்களே அவர்களுக்குமிடையே அல்லாஹ் பிரியத்தை உண்டாக்கி விடக்கூடும், மேலும், அல்லாஹ் பேராற்றலுடையவன்; அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் மன்னிப்வன்; மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

(especially) those with whom you entered into a covenant and then they broke their covenant time after time, and who do not fear allah.
(நபியே!) இவர்களில் நீர் எவருடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்து கொண்டாலும், ஒவ்வொரு தடவையும் அவர்கள் தம் உடன்படிக்கையை முறித்தே வருகின்றனர்; அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) அஞ்சுவதேயில்லை.

and if you fear treachery from any people (with whom you have a covenant) then publicly throw their covenant at them. allah does not love the treacherous.
(உம்முடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்திருக்கும்) எந்தக் கூட்டத்தாரும் மோசம் செய்வார்கள் என நீர் பயந்தால். (அதற்குச்) சமமாகவே (அவ்வுடன்படிக்கையை) அவர்களிடம் எறிந்துவிடும்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மோசம் செய்பவர்களை நேசிப்பதில்லை.

from the lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatsoever is in bet-ween them, the compassionate with whom they can demand not audience.
(அவனே) வானங்களுக்கும், பூமிக்கும் அவ்விரண்டிற்கும் இடையேயுள்ள வற்றிற்கும் இறைவன்; அர்ரஹ்மான் - அவனிடம் பேச எவரும் அதிகாரம் பெறமாட்டார்கள்.

and to everyone we have appointed rightful heirs to what the parents and near of kin might leave behind. as to those with whom you have made a solemn covenant, give them their share. allah watches over all things.
இன்னும், தாய் தந்தையரும், நெருங்கிய பந்துக்களும் விட்டுச் செல்கின்ற செல்வத்திலிருந்து (விகிதப்படி அதையடையும்) வாரிசுகளை நாம் குறிப்பாக்கியுள்ளோம்;. அவ்வாறே நீங்கள் உடன்படிக்கை செய்து கொண்டோருக்கும் அவர்களுடைய பாகத்தை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து விடுங்கள்;. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எல்லாப் பொருட்கள் மீதும் சாட்சியாளனாக இருக்கிறான்.

and inquire those of the city where we have been and of the caravan with whom we have travelled hither; and verily we are truth- tellers.
நாங்கள் தங்கியிருந்த ஊர் வாசிகளையும், நாங்கள் முன்னோக்கி(ச் சேர்ந்து) வந்த ஒட்டகக் கூட்டத்தினரையும் நீங்கள் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளுங்கள் - நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உண்மையே சொல்லுகின்றோம்' (என்றும் சொல்லுங்கள்" என்று கூறித் தந்தையாரிடம் அனுப்பி வைத்தார்).
