and those who brought this truth and those who testify for it – these are the pious.
அன்றியும், உண்மையைக் கொண்டு வந்தவரும், அவ்வுண்மையை ஏற்(று உறுதிப்படுத்து)பவர்களும் - இவர்கள் தாம் - பயபக்தியுடையவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

have you not seen those who were given a portion of the scripture, purchasing error [in exchange for it] and wishing you would lose the way?
(நபியே!) வேதத்திலிருந்து ஒரு பாகம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டோரை நீர் கவனிக்கவில்லையா? அவர்கள் வழிகேட்டை விலைக்கு வாங்கிக் கொள்கின்றனர் - நீங்கள் வழிகெட்டு விடவேண்டும் என்றும் அவர்கள் விரும்புகிறார்கள்.

(viii) do not even approach fornication for it is an outrageous act, and an evil way.
நீங்கள் விபச்சாரத்தை நெருங்காதீர்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அது மானக்கேடானதாகும். மேலும், (வேறு கேடுகளின் பக்கம் இழுத்துச் செல்லும்) தீய வழியாகவும் இருக்கின்றது.

அப்பால், அவன் (அல்லாஹ்) அதற்கு அதன் தீமையையும், அதன் நன்மையையும் உணர்த்தினான்.
