இப்பழியை (ஒருவரிடமிருந்து ஒருவராக) உங்கள் நாவுகளால் எடுத்து(ச் சொல்லி)க் கொண்டு, உங்களுகு; குத் (திட்டமாக) அறிவில்லாத ஒன்றைப் பற்றி உங்கள் வாய்களால் கூறித் திரிகின்றீர்கள்; இன்னும் இதை நீங்கள் இலேசானதாகவும் எண்ணி விட்டீர்கள். ஆனால் அது அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் மிகப்பெரிய (பாவமான)தாக இருக்கும்.

when you were propagating it with your tongues, and uttering with your mouths that whereof you had no knowledge, you counted it a little thing, while with allah it was very great.
இப்பழியை (ஒருவரிடமிருந்து ஒருவராக) உங்கள் நாவுகளால் எடுத்து(ச் சொல்லி)க் கொண்டு, உங்களுகு; குத் (திட்டமாக) அறிவில்லாத ஒன்றைப் பற்றி உங்கள் வாய்களால் கூறித் திரிகின்றீர்கள்; இன்னும் இதை நீங்கள் இலேசானதாகவும் எண்ணி விட்டீர்கள். ஆனால் அது அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் மிகப்பெரிய (பாவமான)தாக இருக்கும்.

and how should they make you a judge, while with them is the torah, in which is allah’s judgement? yet in spite of that, they turn their backs [on him] and they are not believers.
எனினும், இவர்கள் உம்மை தீர்ப்பு அளிப்பவராக எப்படி ஏற்றுக் கொள்வார்கள்? இவர்களிடத்திலோ தவ்ராத் (வேத) முள்ளது. அதில் அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளையும் உள்ளது. எனினும் அதைப் பின்னர் புறக்கணித்து விடுகிறார்கள்;. இவர்கள் முஃமின்களே அல்லர்.

and your lord has decreed that you not worship except him, and to parents, good treatment. whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.
அவனையன்றி (வேறு எவரையும்) நீர் வணங்கலாகாது என்றும், பெற்றோருக்கு நன்மை செய்யவேண்டும் என்றும் உம்முடைய இறைவன் விதித்திருக்கின்றான்; அவ்விருவரில் ஒருவரோ அல்லது அவர்கள் இருவருமோ உம்மிடத்தில் நிச்சயமாக முதுமை அடைந்து விட்டால், அவர்களை உஃப் (சீ) என்று (சடைந்தும்) சொல்ல வேண்டாம் - அவ்விருவரையும் (உம்மிடத்திலிருந்து) விரட்ட வேண்டாம் - இன்னும் அவ்விருவரிடமும் கனிவான கண்ணியமான பேச்சையே பேசுவீராக!
