நிச்சயமாக, நீர் (நம்) தூதர்களில் உள்ளவராவீர்.

he said, “you are one of those deferred.
"நிச்சயமாக நீ அவகாசம் சொடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களில் உள்ளவனே" என (அல்லாஹ்) கூறினான்.

they said, ‘indeed you are one of the bewitched.
"நீரும் எங்களைப் போன்ற ஒரு மனிதரேயன்றி (வேறு) இல்லை எனவே, நீர் உண்மை சொல்பவராக இருந்தால் ஓர் அத்தாட்சியைக் கொண்டு வாரும்" (என்றனர்).

அன்பான சிறந்த நண்பரே, தயவுசெய்து என் வாழ்க்கையில் எப்போதும் இருங்கள்

"நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருப்பதை என் இறைவன் நன்கறிவான்" என்று அவர் கூறினார்.

yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates."
"ஆகவே, நீர் செய்த (கூடாத கொலைச்) செயலையும் செய்துவிட்டீர்; மேலும், நீர் நன்றி மறந்தவராகவும் ஆகிவிட்டீர்" (என்றும் கூறினான்).

you are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars.
"எனவே, நீர் உண்மை சொல்பவராக இருந்தால், வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு துண்டை எங்கள் மீது விழும்படிச் செய்யும்."

therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful.
"நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருப்பதை என் இறைவன் நன்கறிவான்" என்று அவர் கூறினார்.

and you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful.
"ஆகவே, நீர் செய்த (கூடாத கொலைச்) செயலையும் செய்துவிட்டீர்; மேலும், நீர் நன்றி மறந்தவராகவும் ஆகிவிட்டீர்" (என்றும் கூறினான்).

"you are but a human being like us and verily, we think that you are one of the liars!
"எனவே, நீர் உண்மை சொல்பவராக இருந்தால், வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு துண்டை எங்கள் மீது விழும்படிச் செய்யும்."

(muhammad), these are the revelations which we recite to you for a genuine purpose. certainly you are one of our messengers.
(நபியே!) இவை அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களாகும்; இவற்றை நாம் உண்மையைக் கொண்டு உமக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கின்றோம்;. நிச்சயமாக நீர் (நம்மால் அனுப்பப்பட்ட) தூதர்களில் ஒருவர் தாம்.

he said, “get down from it! it is not for you to act arrogantly in it. get out! you are one of the lowly!”
"இதிலிருந்து நீ இறங்கிவிடு, நீ பெருமை கொள்வதற்கு இங்கு இடமில்லை, ஆதலால் (இங்கிருந்து) நீ வெளியேறு - நிச்சயமாக நீ சிறுமை அடைந்தோரில் ஒருவனாகி விட்டாய்" என்று அல்லாஹ் கூறினான்.

so god said: "descend. you have no right to be insolent here. go, and away; you are one of the damned."
"இதிலிருந்து நீ இறங்கிவிடு, நீ பெருமை கொள்வதற்கு இங்கு இடமில்லை, ஆதலால் (இங்கிருந்து) நீ வெளியேறு - நிச்சயமாக நீ சிறுமை அடைந்தோரில் ஒருவனாகி விட்டாய்" என்று அல்லாஹ் கூறினான்.

"and you did your deed, which you did (i.e. the crime of killing a man). and you are one of the ingrates."
"ஆகவே, நீர் செய்த (கூடாத கொலைச்) செயலையும் செய்துவிட்டீர்; மேலும், நீர் நன்றி மறந்தவராகவும் ஆகிவிட்டீர்" (என்றும் கூறினான்).

[sulaiman (solomon)] said: "we shall see whether you speak the truth or you are (one) of the liars.
(அதற்கு ஸுலைமான்;) "நீ உண்மை கூறுகிறாயா அல்லது பொய்யர்களில் நீ இருக்கிறாயா என்பதை நாம் விரைவிலேயே கண்டு கொள்வோம்" என்று கூறினார்.

they said: "have you come to turn us away from our aliha (gods)? then bring us that with which you threaten us, if you are one of the truthful!"
அதற்கு அவர்கள்; "எங்களுடைய தெய்வங்களை விட்டும் எங்களைத் திருப்பி விட நீர் எங்களிடம் வந்தீரா? நீர் உண்மையாளராக இருந்தால், நீர் எதைக் கொண்டு எங்களை பயமுறுத்துகிறீரோ அ(வ் வேதனையான)தைக் கொண்டு வாரும்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.

these are the verses of allah, we recite them to you (o muhammad saw) in truth, and surely, you are one of the messengers (of allah).
(நபியே!) இவை அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களாகும்; இவற்றை நாம் உண்மையைக் கொண்டு உமக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கின்றோம்;. நிச்சயமாக நீர் (நம்மால் அனுப்பப்பட்ட) தூதர்களில் ஒருவர் தாம்.

so they hamstrung the she-camel and defied the command of their lord, and they said, ‘o salih, bring us what you threaten us with, if you are one of the apostles.’
பின்னர், அவர்கள் அந்த ஒட்டகத்தை அறுத்து தம் இறைவனின் கட்டளையை மீறினர்; இன்னும் அவர்கள் (ஸாலிஹை நோக்கி); "ஸாலிஹே நீர் (இறைவனின்) தூதராக இருந்தால், நீர் அச்சறுத்துவதை எம்மிடம் கொண்டு வாரும்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
