those whom you call on besides god are but creatures like yourselves. call upon them, then, and let them respond to you, if what you say is true.

no doubt that what you call me to has no call heard, in this world or in the world to come, that to god we return, and that the prodigal are the inhabitants of the fire.

there is no doubt that what you call me to has neither a call in this world, nor in the everlasting life. to allah we shall return, and the excessive sinners are the inhabitants of the fire.

no doubt that what you call me to has no title to be called to in this world, nor in the hereafter, and that our turning back is to allah, and that the extravagant are the inmates of the fire;

god has ordained for you the same religion which he enjoined on noah, and which we have revealed to you, and which we enjoined upon abraham and moses and jesus, so that you should remain steadfast in religion and not become divided in it. what you call upon the polytheists to do is hard for them; god chooses for himself whoever he pleases and guides towards himself those who turn to him.
พระองค์ได้ทรงกำหนดศาสนาแก่พวกเจ้าเช่นเดียวกับที่พระองค์ได้ทรงบัญชาแก่นูหฺ และที่เราได้วะฮียฺแก่เจ้าก็เช่นเดียวกับที่เราได้บัญชาแก่อิบรอฮิม และมูซา และอีซาว่า พวกเจ้าจงดำรงศาสนาไว้ให้คงมั่น และอย่าแตกแยกกันในเรื่องศาสนา แต่เป็นเรื่องใหญ่แก่พวกตั้งภาคีที่เจ้าเรียกร้อง เชิญชวนพวกเขาไปสู่ศาสนานั้น อัลลอฮฺทรงเลือกสำหรับพระองค์ผู้ที่พระองค์ทรงประสงค์ และทรงชี้แนะทางสู่พระองค์ผู้ที่ผินหน้าสู่พระองค์

nay, him you call upon, so he clears away that for which you pray if he pleases and you forget what you set up (with him).
มิได้ เฉพาะพระองค์เท่านั้นที่พวกท่านจะวิงวอนขอ แล้วพระองค์ก็จะทรงปลดเปลื้องสิ่งที่พวกท่านวิงวอนให้ช่วยเหลือ หากพระองค์ทรงประสงค์ และพวกเจ้าก็จะลืมสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าให้มีภาคีขึ้น

and they say, “our hearts are screened from what you call us to, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a barrier. so do what you want, and so will we.”
และพวกเขากล่าวว่า หัวใจของเราอยู่ในที่ปกปิดจากสิ่งที่พวกท่านเชิญชวนเราไปสู่สิ่งนั้น และในหูของเราก็หนวก และระหว่างเรากับท่านก็มีม่านกั้นอยู่ ดังนั้นท่านจงทำ (สิ่งที่ท่านพึงกระทำ) เถิด สำหรับพวกเราก็จะทำ (ตามที่เราต้องการจะกระทำ)

if you are on a journey where you cannot find a scribe, finalize your contract in the form of a deposit in which the goods are already given to the parties. if you trust each other in such a contract, let him pay back what he has entrusted you with and have fear of god, his lord. do not refuse to testify to what you bore witness. whoever does so has committed a sin. god knows what you do.
และถ้าพวกเจ้าอยู่ในระหว่างเดินทางและไม่พบผู้เขียนคนใด ก็ให้มีสิ่งค้ำประกันยึดถือไว้ แต่ถ้าบางคนในพวกเจ้าไว้ใจอีกบางคน(ลูกหนี้) ผู้ที่ได้รับความไว้ใจ (ลูกหนี้) ก็จงคืนสิ่งที่ถูกไว้ใจ(หนี้) ของเขาเสีย และเขาจงกลัวเกรงอัลลอฮ์ผู้เป็นพระเจ้าของเขาเถิด และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าปกปิดพยานหลักฐาน และผู้ใดปกปิดมันไว้ แน่นอนหัวใจของเขาก็มีบาป และอัลลอฮ์นั้นเป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ในสิ่งที่พวกเจ้ากระทำ

and say: "our hearts are immured against what you call us to. there is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. so act (your way), we are acting (ours)."
และพวกเขากล่าวว่า หัวใจของเราอยู่ในที่ปกปิดจากสิ่งที่พวกท่านเชิญชวนเราไปสู่สิ่งนั้น และในหูของเราก็หนวก และระหว่างเรากับท่านก็มีม่านกั้นอยู่ ดังนั้นท่านจงทำ (สิ่งที่ท่านพึงกระทำ) เถิด สำหรับพวกเราก็จะทำ (ตามที่เราต้องการจะกระทำ)
