ถ้าพระองค์ทรงประสงค์ พระองค์ก็จะทรงให้ลมหยุดนิ่งแล้วมัน (นาวานั้น) ก็จะหยุดลอยนิ่งอยู่ในท้องทะเลนั้น แท้จริงในการนั้นย่อมเป็นสัญญาณแก่ผู้อดทน ผู้ขอบคุณทุกคน

who hears the signs of god being recited to him, then perseveres in waxing proud, as if he has not heard them; so give him the good tidings of a painful chastisement.
เขาได้ฟังอายาต (อัลกุรอาน) ของอัลลอฮฺถูกสาธยายแก่เขา แล้วเขาก็ดื้อรั้นอย่างยะโส ประหนึ่งว่าเขาไม่เคยฟังอายาตมาก่อนเลยดังนั้นจงแจ้งข่าวแก่เขาถึงการลงโทษอันเจ็บปวด
