จงอดทน (ต่อไปเถิดมุฮัมมัด) แท้จริงสัญญาของอัลลอฮฺนั้นเป็นจริงเสมอ และอย่าให้บรรดาผู้ไม่มีความเชื่อมั่นทำให้เจ้ากังวลใจ

men whom neither trafficking nor bargaining diverteth from the remembrance of allah and the establishment of the prayer and the giving of the poor-rate, fearing a day whereon upset will be the hearts and sights.

so be steadfast, and you cannot be steadfast except with allah [’s help]. and do not grieve for them, nor be upset by their guile.

indeed they had plotted sedition before, and upset matters for thee, until,- the truth arrived, and the decree of allah became manifest much to their disgust.

[look out] lest you should disregard aught of what has been revealed to you, and be upset because they say, ‘why has not a treasure been sent down to him, or [why does] not an angel accompany him?’ you are only a warner, and allah watches over all things.
