and i do not think the hour will come, and even if i am returned to my lord i will most certainly find a returning place better than this.
“และฉันไม่คิดว่าวันอวสานของโลกจะมีขึ้น และหากว่าฉันจะถูกกลับไปยังพระผู้เป็นเจ้าของฉัน แน่นอน ฉันจะพบที่กลับที่ดียิ่งขึ้นกว่านี้”

if i do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if i prefer not jerusalem above my chief joy.

and i do not believe that the hour will ever come. even if i am returned to my lord, i shall surely find a better place than this."

เขา(นุห์) กล่าวว่า “โอ้หมู่ชนของฉันเอ๋ย ! พวกท่านเห็นแล้วใช่ไหมว่า หากฉันมีหลักฐานอันแจ้งชัดจากพระเจ้าของฉัน และพระองค์ทรงประทานแก่ฉันซึ่งความเมตตาจากพระองค์ แล้วได้ถูกทำให้มืดมนแก่พวกท่าน เราจะบังคับพวกท่านให้รับมันทั้ง ๆ ที่พวกท่านเกลียดชังมันกระนั้นหรือ?
