“noble one, you look so happy. why?”
འཕགས་པ་ཁྱོད་རེ་བདེ། ཅིའི་ཕྱིར།

for a hedonist to be happy among renunciants is hard.
རབ་བྱུང་ཐོབ་ནས་ཡུལ་སྤྱད་དག་གིས་དགའ་ཐོབ་དཀའ། །

he responds by saying: “i am happy to do so.”
དེས་ཀྱང་སྤྲོ་འོ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་པར་བྱའོ། །

if he isn’t happy, he can always give up the life of a sage.
མངོན་པར་དགའ་བར་མ་གྱུར་ན་ཡང་དྲང་སྲོང་དག་ནི་སླར་ལྡོག་པ་ལགས་པས་

reunited and happy, the merchants and the venerable saṅgharakṣita completed the journey back to shore.
དེ་ནས་ཚོང་པ་དེ་དག་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དགེ་འདུན་འཚོ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཚོགས་ཤིང་ཀུན་དགའ་བཞིན་དུ་མཐར་གྱིས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་འགྲམ་དུ་ཕྱིན་ཏོ། །

but if he answers “yes, i am happy for you to do so,” then cut it.
གལ་ཏེ་བྲེགས་ཤིག་ཅེས་ཟེར་ན་བྲེག་པར་བྱའོ། །

and as it lies with its head to the right side of my womb, it is sure to be a boy, so pray be happy!
