“monks, long ago, in a sanctuary not very far from the city of vārāṇasī, there lived a sage who personified loving kindness.
དགེ་སློང་དག་སྔོན་བྱུང་བ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་བཱ་རཱ་ཎ་སཱི་ནས་ཧ་ཅང་ཐག་མི་རིང་བའི་བསྟི་གནས་ཤིག་ན་དྲང་སྲོང་བྱམས་པའི་བདག་ཉིད་ཅན།
