luxolo revelation jos is a south african entrepreneur, engineer, qualified business student, lobbyist, lay counselor, musician, seventh-day adventist preacher and member of the jos family. luxolo jos was born on 28 april 1987, his father is former goodyear employee, businessman, political power-broker simon johnson jos and his mother is nosifundo mauritius jos, a social activist. he was born at provincial hospital in port elizabeth but grew up in uitenhage in the eastern cape. he has four siblings, (three brothers and an older sister), mitchell, lunathi , sisonke and pamela. the jos family is of the nguni people from the dosini clan of the amampondomise nation. the jos family is xhosa speaking. being traditionally brought up in seventh-day adventist church the jos children attended partly adventist seminaries; however, simon forced his children to attended other prominent black schools- something which proved critical in later years. while at rocklands high school jos decided to do his business, entrepreneur and engineering studies concurrently with his high schooling. in 2008, approaching the finals of his engineering practical work (which had lapsed) with eastern cape midlands college via transnet he dropped-out and enrolled at fort hare university for studies in theology where he became life-friends with his lecturer dr billy gama who is adviser to current malawi president. he dropped-out of fort hare after passing his first year and was then groomed by his father to succeed him in business. simon and nosifundo jos officially divorced 2010. luxolo jos is know to be fond of his mother whom he referres to as "queen mother". at the challenge of unemployment and shuttered dreams of taking over jos family business he started to formulate countless financial schemes, privatizing his skills, which proved pivotal to his financial survival. he, like his father, is an ambitious active black adventist. luxolo has helped reinvent the jos family and holds no reservations.
