ce nouveau procédé sert à préparer des azaindoles répondant aux formules générales (i), (ii), (iii), iv), dans lesquelles r1 à r4 désignent hydrogène, méthyle, alcoxy c¿1?-c4, aryle ou aryloxy, et z?1 à z3¿ désignent hydrogène ou méthyle. on utilise comme matière initiale pour le procédé des ortho-alkylpyridylamines répondant aux formules générales (v), (vi), (vii), (viii), dans lesquelles r?1 à r4 et z1 à z3¿ ont la signification susmentionnée et x et y désignent hydrogène, alkyle c¿1?-c4 ou aryle. on transforme ces ortho-alkylpyridylamines en produit ayant les formules (i) à (iv) par déshydrocyclisation catalytique avec un catalyseur activé à la chromite de cuivre.
a new process is disclosed for preparing azaindoles of general formulas (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), in which r1 to r4 stand for hydrogen, methyl, c¿1?-c4 alkoxy, aryl or aryloxy, and z?1 to z3¿ stand for hydrogen or methyl. the process is carried out with ortho-alkylpyridylamines as initial material having general formulas (v), (vi), (vii), (viii), in which r?1 to r4 and z1 to z3¿ have said meanings and x and y stand for hydrogen, c¿1?-c4 alkyl or aryl. the ortho-alkylpyridylamines are converted into a product of the formulas (i) to (iv) by catalytic dehydrocyclisation with an activated copper chromite catalyst.
