allerdings sollte man die default-zeiten (insbesondere für fido) möglichst nicht weiter verkürzen, da die messages meist lange unterwegs sind und ansonsten gar nicht erst ins newssystem eingestellt werden, sondern direkt expiren.
but you shouldn't decrease the default-times (especially for fido) too much, as the messages take a long time to your system and so might expire immeadiately.
