اورمشرق اور مغرب الله ہی کا ہے سو تم جدھر بھی رخ کرو ادھر ہی الله کا رخ ہے بے شک الله وسعت ولا جاننے والا ہے
and allah's is the east and the west, therefore, whither you turn, thither is allah's purpose; surely allah is ample-giving, knowing.

آپ رات گئے اپنے اہل کو لے کر نکل جائیں اور خود پیچھے پیچھے سب کی نگرانی کرتے چلیں اور کوئی پیچھے کی طرف مڑ کر بھی نہ دیکھے اور جدھر کا حکم دیا گیا ہے سب ادھر ہی چلے جائیں
"so leave with your family late in the night, yourself remaining in the rear, and let none turn back to look, and go where you will be commanded."

اور مشرق اور مغرب کا مالک اللہ ہی ہے۔ تم جدھر بھی منھ کرو ادھر ہی اللہ کا منھ ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ کشادگی اور وسعت واﻻ اور بڑے علم واﻻ ہے
and allah's is the east and the west, therefore, whither you turn, thither is allah's purpose; surely allah is ample-giving, knowing.

اور جو شخص بھی ہدایت کے واضح ہوجانے کے بعد رسول سے اختلاف کرے گا اور مومنین کے راستہ کے علاوہ کوئی دوسرا راستہ اختیار کرے گا اسے ہم ادھر ہی پھیر دیں گے جدھر وہ پھر گیا ہے اور جہّنم میں جھونک دیں گے جو بدترین ٹھکانا ہے
and he who opposes the prophet even after the way has become clear to him, and follows a path other than the way of believers, we shall lead him to what he has chosen for himself, and shall take him to hell: how evil a journey's end.

تو آپ رات کے کسی حصہ میں اپنے اہل و عیال کو لے کر نکل جائیں اور خود آپ ان کے پیچھے پیچھے چلیں اور آپ میں سے کوئی پیچھے مڑ کر نہ دیکھے اور جدھر جانے کا آپ کو حکم دیا گیا ہے ادھر ہی چلے جائیں۔

اور مشرق و مغرب (پورب و پچھم) سب اللہ کے ہی ہیں سو تم جدھر بھی رخ کرو ادھر ہی اللہ کی ذات موجود ہے یقینا اللہ بڑی وسعت والا، بڑا علم والا ہے۔

اور مشرق و مغرب (سب) اللہ ہی کا ہے، پس تم جدھر بھی رخ کرو ادھر ہی اللہ کی توجہ ہے (یعنی ہر سمت ہی اللہ کی ذات جلوہ گر ہے)، بیشک اللہ بڑی وسعت والا سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے،
