بے شک انسان پر زمانے کا ایک ایسا وقت بھی گزر چکا ہے کہ وہ کوئی قابلِ ذِکر چیز ہی نہ تھا،
has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?

ہم یہ منصوبہ نہیں بنا رہے کہ ایک مرتبہ یہ عالمی وبا گزر جائے تو ہم "کسر پوری کر لیں گے"۔
