these are the ones whom we gave the book and the wisdom and the prophethood; so if these people do not believe in it, we have then kept ready for it a nation who do not reject (the truth).

na hakika tuliwapa wana wa israili kitabu na hukumu na unabii, na tukawaruzuku vitu vizuri vizuri, na tukawafadhilisha kuliko walimwengu wote.
and assuredly. we vouchsafed unto the children of israil the book and the wisdom and the propherhood, and we provided them with good things and preferred them above the worlds.

mwanangu timotheo, nakukabidhi amri hii kufuatana na maneno ya unabii yaliyosemwa zamani juu yako. yatumie maneno hayo yawe silaha yako katika kupigana vita vizuri,
this charge i commit unto thee, son timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

na bila ya shaka tulimtuma nuhu na ibrahim, na tukaweka katika dhuriya zao unabii na kitabu. basi wapo miongoni mwao walio ongoka, na wengi katika wao ni wapotovu.
and certainly we sent nuh and ibrahim and we gave to their offspring the (gift of) prophecy and the book; so there are among them those who go aright, and most of them are transgressors.

mimi yohane nawapa onyo wote wanaosikia maneno ya unabii yaliyomo katika kitabu hiki: mtu yeyote akiongeza chochote katika mambo haya, mungu atamwongezea mabaa yaliyoandikwa katika kitabu hiki.
for i testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, god shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

na mtu yeyote akipunguza chochote katika maneno ya unabii yaliyomo katika kitabu hiki, mungu atamnyang'anya sehemu yake katika ule mti wa uzima, na sehemu yake katika mji mtakatifu, ambavyo vimeelezwa katika kitabu hiki.
and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, god shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

haiwezi kuwa mtu aliye pewa na mwenyezi mungu kitabu na hikima na unabii kisha awaambie watu: kuweni wa kuniabudu mimi badala ya mwenyezi mungu. bali atawaambia: kuweni wenye kumuabudu mola mlezi wa viumbe vyote, kwa kuwa nyinyi mnafundisha kitabu na kwa kuwa mnakisoma.
it is not (possible) for any human being unto whom allah had given the scripture and wisdom and the prophethood that he should afterwards have said unto mankind: be slaves of me instead of allah; but (what he said was): be ye faithful servants of the lord by virtue of your constant teaching of the scripture and of your constant study thereof.
