the measure assessing categorisation as a typical murder also provided some tentative support for this prediction, with the feminine defendant being seen as less like a typical murderer compared to the masculine defendant, but only when the defendant was a woman. while the pairwise comparison was significant, the interaction was not statistically significant despite the effect size being the same size as the significant effect for the defendant gender.
