kini magapaturok usab kanimo ug mga sampinit ug mga kadyapa; ug magakaon ka sa mga hilamon sa kapatagan.
thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

ug may ubang mga binhi nga diha mahulog sa kasampinitan, ug ang mga sampinit mitubo ug milumos niini, ug wala kini makapamunga.
and some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

apan kon kini mamunga man ug mga sampinit ug mga kadyapa, kini walay bili ug hapit na matinunglo; ang katapusan niini mao ang pagkasunog.

upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:

and it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.

ang kaligutgut wala diri kanako: hinaut unta nga ang mga sampinit ug mga tunok mingbatok kanako sa panggubatan? dasmagan ko unta sila, sunogon ko unta sila sa tingob.
fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? i would go through them, i would burn them together.

kay ang kadautan nagadilaab ingon sa kalayo; kini nagalamoy sa mga sampinit ug mga tunok; oo, kini nagapasiga sa mga sagbot sa kalasangan, ug sila nagalukot padulong sa itaas sa usa ka haligi nga aso.
for wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.

sa dapit sa tunok motubo ang haya; ug sa dapit sa sampinit motubo ang arayan: ug kini mamahimong usa ka ngalan kang jehova, alang sa usa ka walay-katapusang timaan nga dili pagaputlon.
instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
