i kad se u nju vrate, istrijebit æe iz nje sve grozote i gadosti.
and they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

i još mi reèe jahve: "sine èovjeèji, hoæeš li suditi oholi i oholibi, pokazati im njihove gadosti?
the lord said moreover unto me; son of man, wilt thou judge aholah and aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;

a ti ne samo da si njihovim putem hodila i èinila njihove gadosti - to bi tebi bilo premalo - veæ bijaše od njih pokvarenija na svojim putovima.
yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

i moje te oèi neæe požaliti, neæu ti se smilovati, nego æu ti platiti prema putovima tvojim i tvoje æe gadosti u tebi ostati! i spoznat æete da sam ja jahve koji bije.
and mine eye shall not spare, neither will i have pity: i will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that i am the lord that smiteth.

ali se oni odvrgoše od mene i ne htjedoše me poslušati: nijedan ne odbaci gadosti koje mu oèi zaniješe i ne okani se kumira egipatskih. tad odluèih izliti gnjev svoj na njih i iskaliti srdžbu na njima u zemlji egipatskoj.
but they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of egypt: then i said, i will pour out my fury upon them to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of egypt.

ako li se pravednik odvrati od svoje pravednosti i stane èiniti nepravdu i sve gadosti koje radi bezbožnik - hoæe li živjeti? sva pravedna djela koja bijaše èinio zaboravit æe se, a zbog svoje nevjere kojom se iznevjerio i zbog grijeha što ih poèini, umrijet æe.
but when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? all his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
