"4. a) ak dané terminálové zariadenie podlieha iným smerniciam týkajúcim sa iných aspektov a ktoré tiež ustanovujú pripevňovanie označenia ce, musia tieto smernice uvádzať predpoklad, že dané zariadenie je v súlade s ustanoveniami týchto iných smerníc.
where the terminal equipment is subject to other directives concerning other aspects and which also provide for the affixing of the ce marking, the latter shall indicate that the equipment is also presumed to conform to the provisions of those other directives.

Členské štáty musia zabezpečiť, aby sa terminálové zariadenie mohlo umiestniť na trh a uviesť do prevádzky iba vtedy, ak má označenie ce, ako je ustanovené v článku 11, čo potvrdzuje jeho súlad s požiadavkami tejto smernice, ako aj s postupmi hodnotenia zhody, ustanovenými v kapitole ii, a ak je náležite inštalované a udržiavané a používané na stanovené účely, ktorým má slúžiť.";
member states shall take all appropriate measures to ensure that terminal equipment may be placed on the market and put into service only if it bears the ce marking provided for in article 11 attesting to its conformity to the requirements of this directive, including the conformity assessment procedures laid down in chapter ii and where it is properly installed and maintained and used for its intended purpose.';
