(1a) az általános értesítési eljárás részeként egy egységes értesítés vonatkozhat egynél több hulladékszállítmányra is, egy naptári évet nem meghaladó időszakra. az érintett illetékes hatósággal történő megegyezéssel az időszak lerövidíthető.
1a. as part of a general notification procedure, a single notification may cover more than one shipment of waste over a period not exceeding one calendar year. by arrangement with the competent authorities concerned, the period indicated may be shortened.

a tagállamok azonban a saját joghatóságukon belül megfelelő rendszert alakíthatnak ki a hulladékszállítmányok felügyeletére és ellenőrzésére.
