then we made you successors on earth after them , to see how you would behave .
ከዚያም እንዴት እንደምትሠሩ ልንመለከት ከእነሱ በኋላ በምድር ላይ ምትኮች አደረግናችሁ ፡ ፡

then we made you successors in the land after them so that we may observe how you will do .
ከዚያም እንዴት እንደምትሠሩ ልንመለከት ከእነሱ በኋላ በምድር ላይ ምትኮች አደረግናችሁ ፡ ፡

after them we made you their successors in the earth , so that we might see how you would do .
ከዚያም እንዴት እንደምትሠሩ ልንመለከት ከእነሱ በኋላ በምድር ላይ ምትኮች አደረግናችሁ ፡ ፡

then we made you their successors in the land , so that we might observe how you would conduct yourselves .
ከዚያም እንዴት እንደምትሠሩ ልንመለከት ከእነሱ በኋላ በምድር ላይ ምትኮች አደረግናችሁ ፡ ፡

as sustenance for the bondmen ; and with it we revived a dead city ; this is how you will be raised .
ለባሮቹ ሲሳይ ትኾን ዘንድ ( አዘጋጀናት ) ፡ ፡ በእርሱም የሞተችን አገር ሕያው አደረግንበት ፡ ፡ ( ከመቃብር ) መውጣትም እንደዚሁ ነው ፡ ፡

this was how you considered your lord , but he knows you better than you know yourselves . thus , you are now lost " .
ይህም ያ በጌታችሁ የጠረጠራችሁት ጥርጣሪያችሁ አጠፋችሁ ፡ ፡ ከከሳሪዎቹም ኾናችሁ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and who sent down water from the sky with a proper measure , so we revived a dead city with it ; this is how you will be taken out .
ያም ከሰማያ ውሃን በልክ ያወረደላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሱም የሞተችውን አገር ሕያው አደረግን ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ( ከመቃብራችሁ ) ትውወጣላችሁ ፡ ፡

he brings forth the living from the dead , and brings forth the dead from the living , and he revives the earth after its death ; and this how you will be raised .
ሕያውን ከሙት ያወጣል ፡ ፡ ሙታንም ከሕያው ያወጣል ፡ ፡ ምድርንም ከሞተች በኋላ ህያው ያደርጋታል ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁም ( ከመቃብር ) ትወጣላችሁ ፡ ፡
