አንተ በዚህ አገር ሰፋሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

by oath of this era of yours ( o dear prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) .
በጊዜያቱ እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

and o dear prophet ( mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) , warn your closest relatives .
ቅርቦች ዘመዶችህንም አስጠንቅቅ ፡ ፡

by oath of the beloved shining star mohammed ( peace and blessings be upon him ) , when he returned from the ascent .
በኮከብ እምላለሁ በወደቀ ( በገባ ) ጊዜ ፡ ፡

therefore patiently endure , in the best manner ( o dear prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) .
መልካምንም ትዕግስት ታገሥ ፡ ፡

we shall now make you read ( o dear prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) , so you will not forget .
( ቁርኣንን ) በእርግጥ እናስነብብሃለን ፤ አትረሳምም ፡ ፡

ይህ ከፊተኞቹ አስፈራሪዎች ( ጎሳ ) የኾነ አስፈራሪ ነው ፡ ፡

አብሳሪና አስፈራሪም አድርገን እንጂ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

በግልጹ አድማስም በእርግጥ አይቶታል ፡ ፡

except the mercy of your lord ; indeed his munificence upon you ( o dear prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) is extremely great .
ግን ከጌታህ በኾነው እዝነት ( ጠበቅነው ) ፡ ፡ ችሮታው ባንተ ላይ ታላቅ ነውና ፡ ፤

and indeed you ( o dear prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) , are taught the qur an ’ from the wise , the all knowing .
አንተም ቁርኣንን ጥበበኛና ዐዋቂ ከኾነው ( ጌታህ ) ዘንድ በእርግጥ ትስሰጣለህ ፡ ፡

and ( o dear prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) follow what is divinely revealed to you , and have patience till allah gives his command ; and he is the best of rulers .
ወዳንተም የሚወረደውን ነገር ተከተል ፡ ፡ አላህም ( በነሱ ላይ ) እስከሚፈርድ ድረስ ታገስ ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከፈራጆቹ ሁሉ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡
