and they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.
Եւ պատասխան տուեցին, թէ չգիտեն որտեղից է:

and whence is this to me, that the mother of my lord should come to me?
Որտեղի՞ց ինձ այս ուրախութիւնը, որ իմ Տիրոջ մայրը ինձ մօտ գայ.

we know that god spake unto moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.
Մենք գիտենք, որ Աստուած Մովսէսի հետ խօսեց. իսկ սրան չգիտենք, թէ որտեղից է»:

and his sisters, are they not all with us? whence then hath this man all these things?
Եւ սրա քոյրերը բոլորը մեզ մօտ չե՞ն. եւ արդ, որտեղի՞ց է սրան այս բոլորը»:

and his disciples answered him, from whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
Աշակերտները նրան պատասխանեցին եւ ասացին. «Որտեղի՞ց կարող ես նրանց հացով կշտացնել այս ամայի վայրում»:

and his disciples say unto him, whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
Աշակերտները նրան ասացին. «Իսկ այժմ, այս ամայութեան մէջ որտեղի՞ց է մեզ այնչափ հաց՝ այսքան ժողովուրդ կշտացնելու համար»:

but he shall say, i tell you, i know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
Եւ տանտէրը կ՚ասի. «Ասում եմ՝ ձեզ չգիտեմ, թէ որտեղից էք. հեռացէ՛ք ինձնից դուք՝ բոլոր անիրաւ մշակներդ»:

the man answered and said unto them, why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
Մարդը պատասխանեց նրանց եւ ասաց. «Զարմանալին էլ այն է, որ դուք չգիտէք, թէ նա որտեղից է, եւ սակայն իմ աչքերը բացեց:

so the servants of the householder came and said unto him, sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
Տանտիրոջ ծառաները մօտեցան ու ասացին նրան. «Տէ՛ր, չէ՞ որ քո արտի մէջ դու բարի սերմ սերմանեցիր, ուրեմն որտեղի՞ց է այդ որոմը»:

and the servant said unto him, peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must i needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?
Ծառան նրան պատասխանեց. «Գուցէ կինը չցանկանայ ինձ հետ գալ այս երկիրը: Այդ դէպքում ես տանե՞մ քո որդուն այն երկիրը, որտեղ ծնուել ես դու»:

nathanael saith unto him, whence knowest thou me? jesus answered and said unto him, before that philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, i saw thee.
Նաթանայէլը նրան ասաց. «Որտեղի՞ց ես ինձ ճանաչում»: Յիսուս պատասխանեց եւ ասաց նրան. «Փիլիպպոսը դեռ քեզ չկանչած, երբ թզենու տակ էիր, տեսայ քեզ»:

and when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
Եւ գալով իր գաւառը՝ նրանց ուսուցանում էր իրենց ժողովարանում, այնպէս որ նրանք զարմանում ու ասում էին. «Սրան որտեղի՞ց են այս իմաստութիւնը եւ զօրութեան գործերը:

then cried jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, ye both know me, and ye know whence i am: and i am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
Յիսուս աղաղակեց տաճարի մէջ, ուսուցանում էր եւ ասում. «Ե՛ւ ինձ գիտէք, ե՛ւ գիտէք որտեղից եմ. ինքս ինձ չեմ եկել, այլ ճշմարիտ է նա, ով ինձ ուղարկեց. նա, որին դուք չգիտէք:

and he said, hagar, sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? and she said, i flee from the face of my mistress sarai.
Տիրոջ հրեշտակը նրան ասաց. «Ագա՛ր, Սարայի աղախին, որտեղի՞ց ես գալիս, կամ ո՞ւր ես գնում»: Նա պատասխանեց. «Իմ տիրուհի Սարայի մօտից եմ փախչում ես»:
