စိတ်ရွှင်လန်းခြင်းသည် ကျန်းမာစေတတ်၏။ စိတ်ပျက်ခြင်းမူကား၊ အရိုးတို့ကိုသွေ့ခြောက်စေတတ်၏။

a merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
ရွှင်လန်းသောစိတ်နှလုံးသည် ချိုသောမျက်နှာ ကို ဖြစ်စေတတ်၏။ ညှိုးငယ်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်ကား၊ စိတ်ပျက် တတ်၏။

all the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.
ဆင်းရဲငြိုငြင်သောသူ၏ နေ့ရက်ရှိသမျှတို့သည် ဆိုးယုတ်ကြ၏။ ရွှင်လန်းသောစိတ်နှလုံးမူကား၊ အစဉ် အမြဲခံရသောပွဲဖြစ်၏။

and he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

ထိုမင်းသည် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ တရား သောအမှုကိုပြု၍ လက်ျာဘက်လက်ဝဲဘက်သို့မလွှဲ၊ အဘဒါဝိဒ်လိုက်သမျှသောလမ်းသို့ လိုက်လေ၏။

ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးအတွက် ဖာရောဘုရင်နှင့် အဲဂုတ္တုလူတို့၌ ပြုတော်မူသမျှကို ၎င်း၊ လမ်းခရီးတွင် ခံရသော ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခအလုံးစုံကို၎င်း၊ ထိုဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခမှ ထာဝရဘုရား ကယ်လွှတ်တော်မူ ကြောင်းကို၎င်း၊ မောရှေသည် ယောက္ခမအား ကြားပြောလေ၏။

and all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness.
ပြည်သူပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့သည် ပြင်းစွာငိုကြွေးကြ၏။ နောက်တော်၌ လိုက်သောသူအပေါင်းတို့ သည် ချီးသွား၍၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်သည် ကိုယ်တော်တိုင် ကေဒြုန်ချောင်းကိုကူးလျှင်၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ကူ၍တောလမ်း သို့ လိုက်သွားကြ၏။

ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ ကျွန်ခံ နေရာ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ အဘတို့နှင့် ငါတို့ကို နှုတ်ဆောင်၍၊ ကြီးစွာသော နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာတို့ကို ငါတို့မျက်မှောက်၌ ပြတော်မူပြီ။ ငါတို့သွားလေရာရာအရပ်၊ ရှောက်လေရာ ရာလူမျိုးတို့တွင် စောင့်တော်မူပြီ။

and he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the lord, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. and he sat on the throne of the kings.
ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ယောယဒသည်လည်း၊ ဗိမာန် တော်အုပ်များကို ခန့်ထားပြီးမှ လူတရာအုပ်၊ တပ်မှူး၊ တပ်သား၊ ပြည်သူပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့ကိုခေါ်လျက်၊ ကင်းတံခါးလမ်းဖြင့် ရှင်ဘုရင်ကို ဗိမာန်တော်မှ နန်း တော်သို့ပို့ဆောင်၍ ရာဇပလ္လင်တော်ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်စေ၏။
