and god said, let there be light: and there was light.
ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း လင်းဖြစ်စေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၍ အလင်းဖြစ်လေ၏။

and oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
လိမ်းရန် ဆီဘော်ဘို့၊ မီးရှို့ရာနံ့သာပေါင်း မွှေးဘော်ဘို့ရာ နံ့သာမျိုး၊ မီးထွန်းစရာဆီ၊

the candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,
မီးထွန်းစရာဘို့ မီးခုံနှင့် သူ၏တန်ဆာ၊ မီးခွက်များ၊ မီးထွန်းစရာဆီကို၎င်း၊

and he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
သင်၏ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းအကြောင်းကို အလင်း ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ တရားသဖြင့်ပြုခြင်းအရာကို မွန်းတည့်ရောင် ခြည်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ဘော်ပြတော်မူမည်။

for the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ပညတ်တော်သည် မီးခွက် ဖြစ်၏။ တရားတော်သည် အလင်းဖြစ်၏။ အပြစ်ကို ပြတတ်သော ဩဝါဒစကားသည် အသက်လမ်းဖြစ်၏။

and they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်ပါသောသူတို့သည် ထိုအလင်းကို မြင်၍ကြောက်ရွံ့ခြင်းသို့ရောက်သော်လည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အားပြောသောသူ၏ စကားသံကို မကြားမသိရကြ။

o send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
အလင်းတော်နှင့်သစ္စာတော်ကို စေလွှတ်တော်မူ ပါ။ သူတို့သည် လမ်းပြ၍ သန့်ရှင်းသောတောင်တော်သို့၎င်း၊ တဲတော်သို့၎င်း အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ပို့ဆောင်ပါစေသော။

the people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
မှောင်မိုက်ထဲမှာရှိနေသော လူများတို့သည် ကြီးစွာသောအလင်းကို မြင်ရ၍၊ သေမင်း၏နိုင်ငံအရိပ် တွင်ရှိနေသော သူတို့၌ အလင်းပေါ်ထွန်းလျက်ရှိ၏ဟု ဟောထားသတည်း။

he was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
ယောဟန်သည်ညှိထွန်း၍လင်းသော ဆီမီးဖြစ်၏။ သင်တို့သည် သူ၏အလင်း၌ ခဏသာမွေ့လျော် ခြင်းငှါ အလိုရှိကြ၏။

i form the light, and create darkness: i make peace, and create evil: i the lord do all these things.
ငါသည် အလင်းကိုလုပ်၏။ အမိုက်ကိုလည်း ဖန်ဆင်း၏။ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းကို ဖြစ်စေ၏။ အမင်္ဂလာ ကိုလည်း ဖန်ဆင်း၏။ ခပ်သိမ်းသော အမူအရာတို့ကို ငါထာဝရဘုရား ပြုတော်မူ၏။

and there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the lord god giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
ထိုမြို့၌ညဉ့်မရှိရ ၊ ဆီမီးကိုအလိုမရှိ။ နေ၏ အရောင်ကိုလည်း အလိုမရှိ။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထာဝရ အရှင်ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူတို့၌ ရောင်ခြည်တော်ကို လွှတ်တော်မူ၍ သူတို့သည် ကမ္ဘာအဆက်ဆက် စိုးစံရ ကြလတံ့။

there is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, i say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, chaldeans, and soothsayers;
သန့်ရှင်းသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဝိညာဉ်တော်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံသော သူတယောက်သည် နိုင်ငံတော်တွင် ရှိပါ၏။ ခမည်းတော်ဘုရားလက်ထက်တော်၌၊ ထိုသူတွင် ဘုရားပညာ နှင့်တူသော ပညာဥာဏ်သတ္တိ ထင်ရှားလျက် ရှိပါ၏။ ထိုသူကို ခမည်းတော်ဘုရား နေဗုခဒ်နေဇာမင်းကြီး သည် မာဂုပညာရှိ၊ ဗေဒင်တတ်၊ ခါလဒဲဆရာ၊ အနာဂတ္တိ ဆရာတို့အပေါ်တွင် ဆရာအုပ်အရာ၌ ခန့်ထားတော် မူ၏။

and they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
မီးထွန်းရာ မီးခုံ၊ မီးခွက်၊ မီးညှပ်၊ မီးညှပ်ခံရာ ခွက်၊ ဆီအိုး အစရှိသည်တို့ကို ပြာသောအထည်နှင့် အုပ်ပြီးမှ၊

and to the office of eleazar the son of aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
ယစ်ပုရောဟိတ် အာရုန်သား ဧလာဇာ၏ အရာနှင့်ဆိုင်သော အမှုဟူမူကား မီးထွန်းစရာ မီးရှို့ရာ နံ့သာပေါင်းမွှေး၊ နေ့ရက်အစဉ်အတိုင်း ဆက်ကပ်ရသော ဘောဇဉ်ပူဇော်သက္ကာ လိမ်းရန်ဆီ အစရှိသော တဲတော် နှင့် တဲတော်တန်ဆာ ရှိသမျှတို့ကို သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာန တော်နှင့် သန့်ရှင်းသော တန်ဆာရှိသမျှတို့ကို၎င်း ကြည့်ရှု ပြုစုရမည်။

i will bear the indignation of the lord, because i have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and i shall behold his righteousness.
ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ပြစ်မှားသောကြောင့်၊ အမျက်တော်ကို ခံရ၏။ ငါ့အမှုကို စစ်ကြော၍ တရားဆုံး ဖြတ်တော်မမူမှီတိုင်အောင် ငါခံရ၏။ ငါ့ကို အလင်းထဲသို့ ထုတ်၍ နေရာပေးတော်မူသောအားဖြင့် ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်း ပါရမီတော်ကို ငါမြင်ရလိမ့်မည်။

and saul said, let us go down after the philistines by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. and they said, do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. then said the priest, let us draw near hither unto god.
တဖန်ရှောလုက၊ ညဉ့်အခါ ငါတို့သည် ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့ကို လိုက်၍ တယောက်ကိုမျှ မကျန်ကြွင်းစေ ဘဲ၊ မိုဃ်းလင်းသည်တိုင်အောင် ဖျက်ဆီးကြကုန်အံ့ဟု စီရင်၍၊ လူများတို့က စိတ်တော်ရှိသည် အတိုင်း ပြုတော်မူပါဟု ဝန်ခံကြသော်၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်က၊ ဘုရားသခင့်အထံတော်သို့ ချည်းကပ်ကြကုန်အံ့ ဟု ဆိုလေ၏။
