ထိုမျှမက၊ သင်တို့၏ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို တင်လှူ ပူဇော်သော ယဇ်အပေါ်မှာ ငါ့ကိုလောင်းသော်လည်း ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းရှိ၏။ သင်တို့ရှိသမျှနှင့်အတူ ငါဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းရှိ၏။

and if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
သူတပါးအမှု၌ သင်တို့သည် သစ္စာမရှိလျှင်၊ အဘယ်သူသည် အပိုင်ပေးမည်နည်း။

speak unto the children of israel, and say unto them, when ye come into the land which i give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the lord.
သင်တို့သည် ငါပေးသော ပြည်သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ထိုပြည်သည် ထာဝရဘုရားအဘို့ ဥပုသ်စောင့်ရမည်။

and if i go and prepare a place for you, i will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where i am, there ye may be also.
ငါသည်သွား၍ သင်တို့ပြင်ဆင်စရာအရပ်ကိုပြင်ဆင်ပြီးမှ တဖန်လာပြန်၍၊ ငါရှိရာအရပ်၌ သင်တို့ရှိ စေခြင်းငှါ သင်တို့ကို ငါ့ထံသို့ သိမ်းဆည်းမည်။

which of you convinceth me of sin? and if i say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
ငါ၌ အပြစ်ရှိကြောင်းကို သင်တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူဘော်ပြသနည်း။ သစ္စာစကားကိုငါပြောသည်မှန်လျှင် အဘယ်ကြောင့်သင်တို့ မယုံကြသနည်း။

and if i by beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
ငါသည် ဗေလဇေဗုလကိုအမှီပြု၍ နတ်ဆိုးတို့ကိုနှင်ထုတ်သည်မှန်လျှင်၊ သင်တို့၏သားတို့သည် အ ဘယ်သူကို အမှီပြု၍နှင်ထုတ်ကြသနည်း။ ထိုကြောင့် သူတို့သည်သင်တို့အား တရားစီရင်သောသူဖြစ်ကြလိမ့် မည်။

and if i send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.
အချို့တို့သည် အဝေးကလာသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အစာမစားမှီ သူတို့အိမ်သို့ ငါလွှတ်လျှင် လမ်းခရီး၌ မောကြ လိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and god almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and benjamin. if i be bereaved of my children, i am bereaved.
ထိုသူသည် သင်တို့ အစ်ကိုတယောက်နှင့် ဗင်္ယာမိန်ကို လွှတ်လိုက်မည်အကြောင်း၊ သင်တို့သည် သူ့စိတ်နှင့်တွေ့ရသောအခွင့်ကို အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင် ဘုရား သခင်ပေးတော်မူပါစေသော။ သို့ရာတွင် ငါသည် သားဆုံးခြင်းကိုခံရလျှင် ခံရတော့မည်ဟု သားတို့အား ဆိုသည်အတိုင်း၊

thus saith the lord; if my covenant be not with day and night, and if i have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ နေ့နှင့်ညဉ့် အဘို့ငါ၏ပဋိညာဉ်မရှိလျှင်၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်နှင့် မြေကြီးတရားတို့ကို ငါမစီရင်လျှင်၎င်း၊

သို့သော်လည်း ထိုဘုရားသခင်ကို သင်တို့မသိကြ။ ငါမူကားသိ၏။ ငါမသိဟုငါဆိုလျှင်သင်တို့ကဲ့သို့ မု သာသုံးသောသူဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုဘုရားသခင်ကို ငါသိ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ စကားတော်ကိုလည်းနားထောင်၏။

စိတ်နှလုံးသစ်ကို ငါပေးမည်။ သဘောသစ်ကို သွင်းထားမည်း။ သင်တို့ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာထဲက ကျောက်နှလုံးကို နှုတ်၍ အသားနှလုံးကို ပေးမည်။

and if it seem evil unto you to serve the lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the lord.
သို့မဟုတ် ထာဝရဘုရားအား ဝတ်မပြုကောင်း ဟု သင်တို့ထင်လျှင်၊ မြစ်ကြီးတဘက်၌ ဘိုးဘေးတို့ဝတ်ပြု သောဘုရား၊ သင်တို့နေရာ အာမောရိပြည်သားတို့၏ ဘုရားများတွင်၊ အဘယ်မည်သော ဘုရားတို့အား ဝတ်ပြု မည်အရာကို ယနေ့ ရွေးကြလော့။ ငါနှင့် ငါ့အိမ်သားဖြစ် လျှင် ထာဝရဘုရားကိုသာ ဝတ်ပြုမည်ဟု ဆိုလေသော်၊

if i go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if i enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not.
ငါသည်မြို့ပြင်သို့သွားသောအခါ၊ သတ်သော အသေကောင်များကို တွေ့ရ၏။ မြို့ထဲသို့ဝင်သောအခါ၊ ငတ်မွတ်၍ နာကျင်စွာခံရသော သူများကိုလည်း တွေ့ရ ၏။ ပရောဖက်နှင့် ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့သည် အဘယ်အမှု ကိုမျှမသိဘဲ အရပ်ရပ်လှည့်လည်ကြ၏။

and aaron said unto moses, behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the lord; and such things have befallen me: and if i had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the lord?
အာရုန်က၊ ယနေ့ သူတို့သည် လူများတို့ အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်ကို ပူဇော်ပါပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ် ၌ ထိုသို့သော အမှုရောက်သည်တွင် ၊ ယနေ့အပြစ်ဖြေရာ ယဇ်သားကို စားမိလျှင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား နှစ်သက်တော်မူပါမည်လောဟု မောရှေကို ပြောဆို၏။

a son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then i be a father, where is mine honour? and if i be a master, where is my fear? saith the lord of hosts unto you, o priests, that despise my name. and ye say, wherein have we despised thy name?
သားသည် အဘကို ရိုသေတတ်၏။ ကျွန်သည် သခင်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့တတ်၏။ ငါသည် အဘမှန်လျှင်၊ ငါ့ကို အဘယ်သူရိုသေသနည်း။ သခင်မှန်လျှင်၊ အဘယ် သူ ကြောက်ရွံ့သနည်းဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် နာမတော်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသော ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ်တို့အား မေးတော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် နာမတော်ကို အဘယ်သို့ မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုပါသနည်းဟု သင် တို့မေးရာတွင်၊
