ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းပါရမီကို ဆာငတ်ခင်မွတ်သောသူတို့သည် မင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသူတို့ သည် ဝပြောခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြလတံ့။

in weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
ပင်ပန်းစွာအမှုဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း၊ အကြိမ်များစွာ မအိပ်ဘဲစောင့်နေခြင်း၊ မွတ်သိပ်ခြင်း၊ ရေငတ်ခြင်း၊ အကြိမ်ကြိမ်အစာရှောင်ခြင်း၊ အချမ်းအအေးခံရခြင်း၊ အဝတ်အချည်းစည်းရှိခြင်း၊ ဤဆင်းရဲခြင်းများကို ငါခံ ခဲ့ပြီ။

even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
ယခုတိုင်အောင် အစားအသောက်ငတ်မွတ်ခြင်း၊ အဝတ်နွမ်းပါးခြင်း၊ ရိုက်ပုတ်ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို ခံရကြ၏။ နေရာမကျသောသူ၊

and he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the lord doth man live.
ထိုသို့ သင့်ကိုနှိမ့်ချ၍ အငတ်အမွတ်ခံစေတော် မူသောအခါ၊ သင်သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်မသိ၊ သင်၏ဘိုးဘေး မသိဘူးသော မန္နနှင့် ကျွေးမွေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ လူသည် မုန့်အားဖြင့်သာ အသက်ကို မွေးရသည်မဟုတ်။ ဘုရား သခင် မိန့်တော်မူသမျှအားဖြင့် အသက်မွေးရသည်ကို သိစေတော်မူ၏။
