for here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ငါတို့သည် ဤဘဝ၌ အမြဲတည်သော မြို့မရှိ၊ နောက်ဖြစ်လတံ့သော မြို့ကိုရှာကြ၏။

and such trust have we through christ to god-ward:
ငါတို့သည် ခရစ်တော်အားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင့် ရှေ့တော်၌ ထိုသို့သော ယုံမှတ်စွဲလမ်းခြင်းရှိ၏။

and this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth god love his brother also.
ဘုရားသခင်ကို ချစ်သောသူသည် မိမိညီအစ်ကိုကို ချစ်ရမည်ဟူသော ပညတ်တော်ကို ငါတို့သည် ခရစ်တော်ထံ၌ ခံရကြပြီ။

and david said, what have i now done? is there not a cause?

neither have we obeyed the voice of the lord our god, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

but who am i, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
သို့ရာတွင် ကြည်ညိုသောစိတ်နှင့် ဤမျှလောက် ပူဇော်နိုင်အောင် အကျွန်ုပ်နှင့်အကျွန်ုပ်၏လူတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့သောသူဖြစ်ပါသနည်း။ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ သည် တန်ခိုးတော်ကြောင့်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏ဥစ္စာထဲကသာ ကိုယ်တော်အား ပူဇော်ပါ၏။

and he said, wherefore doth my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have i done? or what evil is in mine hand?

as we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the lord of hosts, in the city of our god: god will establish it for ever. selah.

and he said unto them, what have i done now in comparison of you? is not the gleaning of the grapes of ephraim better than the vintage of abi-ezer?

a son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then i be a father, where is mine honour? and if i be a master, where is my fear? saith the lord of hosts unto you, o priests, that despise my name. and ye say, wherein have we despised thy name?
