who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ အသက်ရှင်သော သူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ သေသောသူတို့ကို၎င်း တရားစီရင်ခြင်းငှါ အသင့်ရှိတော် မူသောသူရှေ့၌၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် စစ်ကြောခြင်းကို ခံရကြလတံ့။

and they said unto him, sit down now, and read it in our ears. so baruch read it in their ears.
သူတို့ကလည်း ထိုင်လော့။ငါတို့အား ဘတ်လော့ ဟုဆိုသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဗာရုတ်သည် သူတို့ရှေ့မှာ ဘတ်လေ ၏။

ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
သင်တို့သည် ငါတို့စိတ်နှလုံးပေါ်၌ ရေးထားသောစာ၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့သိ၍ ဘတ်တတ်သောငါတို့ စာပင်ဖြစ်ကြသတည်း။

and shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. and shaphan read it before the king.
ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဟိလခိသည် ကျွန်တော်၌ စာစောင်ကိုအပ်ပါပြီဟူ၍၎င်း ကြားလျှောက်လျက်၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်ရှေ့တော်၌ ဘတ်ရွတ်လေ၏။

and he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of god to be the judge of quick and dead.
ထိုသခင်သည်လည်း အသက်ရှင်သောသူတို့နှင့် သေသော သူတို့ကို တရားစီရင်သောသခင်ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဘုရားသခင်ခန့်ထားတော် မူကြောင်းကို လူအပေါင်းတို့အား ဟောပြောကြလော့။ သက်သေခံကြ လော့ဟု ငါတို့အားပညတ်ထားတော်မူ၏။

and hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and hezekiah went up unto the house of the lord, and spread it before the lord.
ထိုမှာစာကို ဟေဇကိမင်းသည် သံတမန်လက်မှ ခံယူ၍ ကြည့်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ဗိမာန်တော်သို့ သွား၍ ထာဝရဘု ရားရှေ့တော်၌ ဖြန့်ထားလေ၏။

they do not carry placards, they do not march in the streets, but they seat in crowded places and read political books.

for the word of god is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
ဘုရားသခင်၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တရားတော်သည် အသက်ရှင်ခြင်း၊ တန်ခိုးနှင့်ပြုပြင်ခြင်း၊ သန်လျက်တကာ တို့ထက် ထက်ခြင်းနှင့် ပြည့်စုံသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အသက်နှင့် စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်ကို၎င်း၊ အရိုးဆစ်နှင့် ခြင်ဆီကို၎င်း ပိုင်းခြား ၍ ထုတ်ချင်းခွင်းတတ်၏။ စိတ်နှလုံးအကြံအစည်များကိုလည်း သိမြင်တတ်၏။

and he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, all that the lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.
ပဋိညာဉ်စာကိုလည်း ယူ၍၊ ပရိသတ်များရှေ့မှာ ဘတ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ သူတို့ကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော် မူသမျှအတိုင်း အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ပြုပါမည်၊ နားထောင်ပါမည်ဟု ပြောဆိုကြ၏။

and they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the lord their god one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the lord their god.
မိမိတို့နေရာ၌ ရပ်နေ၍၊ မိမိတို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ပညတ္တိကျမ်းစာကို နေ့လေးစုတစု ဘတ်ကြ၏။ အပြစ်ကို ဘော်ပြတောင်းပန်၍၊ မိမိတို့ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို နေ့လေးစုတစုကို ကိုးကွယ်ကြ၏။

therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the lord in the ears of the people in the lord's house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all judah that come out of their cities.
သင်သွားလော့။ ငါပြန်ပြောသည်အတိုင်း၊ သင်သည် စာလိပ်၌ ရေးထားသော ထာဝရဘုရား၏ စကားတော်တို့ကို၊ အစာရှောင်သောနေ့တွင်၊ ဗိမာန် တော်၌ရှိသော သူတို့အားဘတ်လော့။ အမြို့မြို့အရွာရွာ ကလာသော ယုဒလူတို့အားလည်း ဘတ်လော့။
