my son, despise not the chastening of the lord; neither be weary of his correction:

withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
သူငယ်ကို မဆုံးမဘဲမနေနှင့်။ ကြိမ်လုံးနှင့်ရိုက် သော်လည်း သူသည် မသေ။

foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
မိုက်သောသဘောသည် သူငယ်၏ စိတ်နှလုံး ထဲမှာ ထုပ်ထားလျက်ရှိ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ဆုံးမသော ကြိမ်လုံးသည် ထိုသဘောကို ဝေးစွာ နှင်တတ်၏။

he goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;
နွားသည်အသေခံရာသို့ လိုက်သကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ သမင်ဒရယ်သည် မိမိအသည်း၌ မြှားမထိုးမှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ဘမ်းမိရာထဲသို့ ဝင်သကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊

all scripture is given by inspiration of god, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
ထိုကျမ်းစာရှိသမျှသည် ဘုရားသခင် မှုတ်သွင်းတော်မူသော အားဖြင့်ဖြစ်၍၊

but thou shalt say unto them, this is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the lord their god, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

art thou not from everlasting, o lord my god, mine holy one? we shall not die. o lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, o mighty god, thou hast established them for correction.
အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဘုရားသခင်၊ သန့်ရှင်းတော်မူသောဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် နိစ္စထာဝရ တည်တော်မူသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သို့ဟုတ်လျှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် သေခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်ကြပါမည်။ အိုထာဝရ ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို စစ်ကြောခြင်းငှါ သူတို့ကို ခန့်ထား တော်မူပြီ။ အိုကျောက်ထရံ၊ ဆုံးမစေခြင်းငှါ သူတို့ကို နေရာချတော်မူပြီ။
